Newcastle’s Chelsea Ticket Allocation Already Sold Out

Newcastle’s ticket allocation for the Carling Cup 3rd round tie against Chelsea on Wednesday, September 22 at Stamford Bridge, has already been sold out.

Newcastle fans – Chelsea ticket allocation sold out

The Newcastle club are reporting that all 1,438 tickets allocated to the club have been sold, and the game is still 9 days away.

The Newcastle manager was obviously pleased that so many Geordies are now planning to make the trip to London for that mid-week game, when we expect Sol Campbell to get his first start for Newcastle.

Chris said today:

“Once again, our fans have surpassed themselves,” “To sell out an allocation of almost 1,500 for a midweek game in London with well over a week to go before the game is amazing – but nothing surprises me about our supporters.”

“It is a support we very much appreciate and the team that goes out there at Stamford Bridge will be determined to make the trip worthwhile for those loyal fans.”

We all know it will be a very tough game at Chelsea, but it appears that Chris will not be playing the Newcastle youngsters in this game, but will put out a competitive side to try to make it through to the next round, although that will be very difficult.

    Ben Arfa—Barton—Nolan—Jonas

Subs: Harper, Collo, Kadar, Guthrie, Routledge, Lovenkrands, Ranger.

That would be a very good team to play against chelsea as it is fairly solid at the back but also very capable on the attack too.

Bring on Guthrie, Routledge and Lovenkrands after 60 mins to freshen things up. This team also gives some of the normal 1st teamers a rest.

Watched that last night hitman. The blokes accent has gone to the rats to say the least mind. Back at the football, play the kids, and hope they do ok, keep the main squad well rested and concentrate on points.
