Newcastle’s derby game with arch rivals Sunderland at St James’ Park late next month, has been brought forward by the Premier League, following a request from Northumbria police.
The game is being televised around the world and was initially due to kick off at 4pm on Sunday October 31, however it will now start at 1.30pm on the same day.
A Newcastle club statement issued today said:
“This change of kick-off time has been made by the Premier League at the request of Northumbria Police.”
We’re pleased to see the Sunderland game at home is coming up soon – because we need a guaranteed home win – that’s for sure. 😀

Comment #4Anybody else remember the Wear United group after both clubs refused entry to the others supporters?
Shame we couldn’t band together for that, eh?
