Kazenga LuaLua has scored for Brighton against the MK Dons and Brentford so far in his loan spell.
Kazenga LuaLua – started loan spell at Brighton in great style
The 19 year-old has played 5 games for the south coast side so far this season, and Brighton are currently 3 points clear at the top of League One.
Brighton player Bennett has talked about the on-loan Newcastle winger’s late impact against Brentford last Tuesday night, as a perfect example of what the youngster is capable of.
Bennet told The Argus today:
“They did their homework on him for maybe 60 or 65 minutes but you can never stop what he’s got when he wants to turn it on like he did in the last 25 minutes of the game of Tuesday.”
“He can win games for us, which is why the gaffer chased him so hard in the summer and why everyone is so glad to have him here.”
Newcastle giant goalkeeper Fraser Forster was in the nets last Saturday for Celtic, who had a good 2-1 home win against Hibernian, and they are joint top of the SPL with Rangers after 6 games and a maximum 18 points.
The two Glasgow sides are a full 8 points ahead of 3rd placed Motherwell – and that’s after just 6 games – is the SPL a two team league or is it a two team league?
In the 5 SPL games the 6’7″ Fraser has played so far for Celtic, he has already kept 3 clean sheets.
20 year-old defender Ben Tozer joined Northampton Town last week and started his first game with the Carling Cup win at Liverpool, and scored for the side against Bradford City in their 2-0 home win last Saturday.
So Ben seems to have settled down well at Northampton, where he is on loan for a month – at least initially.
We could well see more of Newcastle youngsters soon going out on loan, with Ryan Donaldson probably being the next one to leave – and most likely to 3rd placed League One side Carlisle United.
