Ben Arfa Humbled By Overwhelming Newcastle Fan Support

Hatem Ben Arfa has been buoyed by the support of the Newcastle fans, after officials of the famous club informed the player of the hundreds of get well messages and cards that have so far received for him,  since he was injured on Sunday afternoon.

Hatem Ben Arfa – being carried of on Sunday at Eastlands

The 23 year-old is expected to leave the Manchester Infirmary tomorrow, and he has talked of  how the support of the Newcastle fans has inspired  him in his efforts to return to action as soon as possible.

Ben Arfa said today:

“I would like to thank all the Newcastle fans from the bottom of my heart for their fantastic messages of support and encouragement.”

“The club are sending lots of messages through to me. I’m told they are arriving in their hundreds and that’s really overwhelming.”

“It’s cheered me up no end and makes me feel really humble and honored that the fans are showing such support for me.”

“All I can say is a huge thank you to each and every one of them and I will relish the day that I’m able to pull on a black and white shirt again.”

If Ben Arfa can return and play before the end of the season, we have to believe the Newcastle club will make the move permanent in the summer, and that will delight Newcastle fans, and seemingly Ben Arfa too.

We think the lad may have already found the club he was destined to play for.

Get well soon Ben Arfa – we Newcastle fans love you a lot.

Considering he has only played a handful of games, he is already loved at the Toon. Hope he is back soon, and hopefully we will be seeing a lot more of him over the next few years. A talented player, and looks to be starting to love Newcastle.

“Atkinson faces the possibility of being demoted to the Championship for the WEEKEND OF FIXTURES that follows the international break.”

    What an absolute joke.

So beautiful strong words by our one and only Hatem Ben Arfa! He loves Newcastle from the bottom of my heart, this shows how much he loves this Newcastle United team. I am more than certain that he will be a Newcastle player next season. His connection with the fans is just unbelievable. 😀 Hope he gets well soon with a speedy recovery. This guy backs his talk always. He doesn’t just talk he shows the work too!
