Andy Carroll’s New Car Set On Fire At Nolan’s Home

Andy Carroll’s new car was set on fire while parked on the drive of team-mate Kevin Nolan’s house, last night, just after 7:00 pm.

Andy and Kevin – in better times

Andy has been told to live with Kevin Nolan for three months,  after his most recent altercation in Hexham last Sunday, and he only took delivery of his new car last week.

Kevin Nolan, Newcastle’s captain, lives in Ponteland, and also had his garage door covered in graffiti, and this all happened last night, and unfortunately is yet another distraction for the Newcastle club this week.

Police were called to Kevin’s home after Carroll’s chrome-plated Range Rover was seen to be in flames on the drive. Andy had ordered the car a few months ago, and just happened to take delivery at the time he signed his new five year deal at the club last week.

Firefighters arrived at the house at just after 7:00 pm, and there was obscene grafati seen on the garage door.  The obscenities have been quickly covered up, and security staff have since stood guard outside the house, to prevent further intruders gaining access or doing any more damage.

A Northumbria Police spokesman said today:

“A car was set on fire at 7.08pm on Wednesday, October 20.” “Police received a report from the fire and rescue service of a fire outside an address.””Officers attended and a Range Rover was found to be on fire. The fire was extinguished by the fire and rescue service and no one was injured.”

“The garage door of the property was also vandalized. Inquiries into the incident are ongoing and police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 0345 043043 ext 69191 or Crimestoppers anonymous on 0800 555111.”

Carroll’s latest case, which was adjourned last Monday until January 10th next year, had a condition of his bail that he must live with Nolan at the Newcastle captain’s  home, until at least his next court appearance.

This is even more unwanted distraction for the Newcastle club this week, after Andy Carroll’s latest altercation with the police.

We have to feel sorry for the Newcastle captain Kevin Nolan, and he will be worried in case this type of thing escalates in the future, as the couple do have a beautiful little daughter, and will not want any more of this type of nonsense going on in their home.

It may be a good idea for the Newcastle club and the police to put some security around Kevin’s house while Andy is staying there – that seems like a sensible thing to do at this juncture.

And of course this latest event will not help the club’s preparations for the game at West Ham one little bit.

This is something we could really do without. I wonder if the court thought of this before making it a condition of Carroll’s bail.

Whether he’s guilty or not, I can’t understand why someone would think this was a good idea. There are some appalling people about.

I do hope this is not the work of toon fans. Kangaroo courts and lynch mobs are the actions of idiots. Lets get the facts before we react, and I hope whichever stupid fool carried out these actions is brought fully to account. In which way do the idiots that carry out these actions feel they are any better than the accused themselves? If the person that did this is reading the thread, then I hope you swing you fool.

This is disgraceful behaviour by whoever did it. Immature, pointless and no good for Carroll, Nolan, the club or fans. Surely, as Carroll is a high profile individual for both good and bad reasons, the fuzz should have kept an eye out just in case? Nowt but yobbery and local terrorism and achieves nothing at all. Sorry it happened Carroll – but then you do have to think about why you have become a target.

Guess Andy just had another blazing row!

The ‘Graffiti on Nolan’s garage door said:

‘Please do not park infront of this garage’

Andy did not pay attention to the notice, and so Nolan got revenge!

Its a free country, but under the circumstances, someone should tell the lad to get himself a less conspicuous motor and keep his head down.

Can’t complain about media attention if you are going to drive around with customised plates, a neon sign and ice-cream van music blaring.
    – Not what is wanted at the minute.

Very good point Sav, he does seem to operate a bit of a charva lifestyle, and is no stranger to violent disorder. I seem to remember his Snoop Dodge hairstyle a while back.

….the kid just listens to too much gangsta rap innit. Brap brap. A chrome-wrapped Range Rover!?! For goodness sake, have a word Andy, you’re not Jay-Z.

He’ll grow out of it, hopefully.

It’s all well & good having a laugh at Carroll expense but Nolan has a young daughter living in that house, so the frakin idiot who thinks setting a car on fire just outside didn’t think of the consequeces if it had blown up….

I just hope the CCTV in that area picked them up & the feds are chasing them down now!!!

    Couldn’t agree more Solaidback.

Why would ANY footballer want to come to a club where their player’s properties/possessions are in danger.

Whoever did this is pure scum, plain and simple! I just hope it wasn’t a Toon fan, thinking this would shock Carroll onto the straight and narrow!

Davies, G, Ericles, SoLaidBack, I agree totally and this is terrible news. It’s all well and good having a laugh (and to be honest the ‘old flame’ comment did raise a smile!) but in all seriousness this is appalling. It’s bad for the Nolans, for Carroll, for the club as a whole and even for football itself. More bloody off-field headlines and unwanted distraction from our big, big job this season-staying up. And with a massive game on Saturday the timing couldn’t be worse. This is such an act of stupidity for so many reasons- firstly it solves nothing, just projects a misguided view that setting someone’s car alight is a just rebuke for Carroll’s atercations. Secondly, Carroll’s trial is ongoing and we still don’t know what really happened. And thirdly, even if he is guilty, this is not a justifiable act. Then you have the fact that Nolan and his daughter are involved, and so on. I hope to God this wasn’t the action of a Newcastle fans(s), beacause if it was, they may as well p*ss off and support the Mackems if this is how they’re going to treat the players and the city. Let’s hope it was a one-off by someone with a grudge against Carroll, it’ll all blow over and Nolan can sleep easily without having to worry about the safety of his daughter. Whoever did this, I hope you get caught. Soon.

has been torched luckily no one hurt but the worry that these people must of caused the nolans i think is disguisting i think i would say the victims are the nolans and andy carroll

I’m not so sure this is the work of misguided fans. I’d say this is a little revenge by the “model” or whoever controls her. This is dangerous water and the people who do this stuff don’t give a rat’s arse about collateral damage to the Nolan’s. The message is for Carroll, and one he should heed as a “stand clear”, not as “let’s take this to the next level”. AC may be plotting how he will get back at the perps, but he should be burying any relations he had with that lot. You cannot win in a battle against the social dross he has been cavorting with.
We can only hope that someone at NUFC, or in the community, will help this kid get his feet squarely on the ground.

It must have been Nolan’s wife being sick of Carroll ruining another romantic evening in the house. This is really more unwanted bad publicity for the club and everyone involved. This has to be some evil doing from a crazy ex of Carroll’s.

heartcelt you wrongly say nothing came of the incident in Pudding Chare.
The police cautioned him for beating up the girl which was caught on CCTV and that is the same as pleading guilty.
It is on his very much on his record and will count against him when the ABH charge from Blue Bambu is heard at Crown Court on Monday.
The police caution for assault will also come into play when he faces the new Ponteland assault charge on January 10.
Like Gazza it does not look good for him

Tino 26 get real nobody gets a caution for beating someone up you get a caution for sneezing in the wrong place or laying a hand on a shoulder. If it was a beating it would of went to court which it didn’t as it was not an offence which caused any discomfort or harm.

Yeah ! that great local police department, remember them ?
When they attempted to herd the Sunderland fans, looking to intimidate them with dogs, were forced to run after the dogs were injured.
The same guy`s responsible for using the illegal stun guns, resulting in the death of the whack job killer.
And shaking down Gazzas place for drugs and arresting him, guess there`s no crime to fight out there , easy cop, leave the guy alone , he`s got enough problems.
At present they are asking for witnesses to the torch job on Carrolls wheels, best of luck there Andy, just dont expect too much from these clowns, be satisfied with the insurance.
