74% Want Steven Taylor To Stay At Newcastle

The good news this morning is that it seems Steven Taylor may be close to signing his new deal at Newcastle.

Steven Taylor – 73% want this lad to stay at Newcastle United

Steven had said today that he was delighted when new manager Alan Pardew sat him down soon after he arrived as the new manager,  and told him he wanted him to stay at his home town club.

This is what Steven said today:

“It was music to my ears when Alan told me he wanted to stay.” “That’s the best possible thing that could have happened to me.”

“For a new manager to come in and tell me how much he wants me to stay.”

And in our poll asking Newcastle supporters if  they want Steven to stay – after almost 2400 fans have voted – one vote per fan we may add – 74% want him to stay.

21% don’t want Steven to stay and 5% are undecided.

The poll is still open on our home page, if you haven’t yet voted, and while you’re there, also vote on who you think Newcastle’s best goalkeeper is right now.

Thanks – and comments always welcome.

Just let him go. He really isn’t that good. People really must be watching a different player to me.

Been smoking your socks again Mac?

Taylor is class. If he stays injury free he might go far… very far.

Look at his age for instance.. so young.. and still so experienced.

Max. Steven Taylor is good but not at any price, but as good as Puyol? I really think not.
