Here is an excellent interview with new Newcastle manager Alan Pardew where he discusses Andy Carroll, Steven Taylor  and the upcoming Man City game.

It gives Newcastle fans a good idea of how Pardew operates and how he is with his players.

An honest open interview. I’m starting to like this guy. Maybe he can surprise us. I mean red nose (because it’s Christmas) had a lousy start at being a manager.

He’s change his tone quite a bit hasn’ he?? I thought he said he was going to be knocking on Ashleys door trying to get as much transfer money as possible…. Now he doesn’t want to bring anyone in, maybe one or two??

We need new dangerous players its as simple as that…. ATLEAST, one stiker, one attacking midfielder and a solid centre back!!

ToonAndy, No he didn’t. He said he would be knocking at Ashley’s door asking for what was necessary.

Where do the press get all of this transfer rubbish from?

Andy Carroll and Joey Barton are probably our two most important players; if we are to remain in the Premiere League it is vital that they stay.

How stupid are these people; exactly how could we replace those two players in this transfer window. Even if Mike Ashley is an arsehole he isn’t stupid enough to leave us open to relegation once more.

bill, They just love to wind us up. I was on a Makem blog and said, Pardew was interested in Bent as he knew him and that they got on well with one another…

    … Panic.

This blog now is giving me a scare. Ed, you suddenly made this man Pardew as so good, even though there is nothing in his record to indicate that he is.

And ur an idiot for always being negative. Why not give the man a chance? Why always start out hating someone instead of giving them a chance? Alan Pardew has done nothing wrong to us, and I think he has shown a good figure in the media so far. He knows he came in under difficult circumstances, and he has aknowledged that he needs to stay humble as he walked in to a team developed by Hughton.

Pardew’s credibility is growing for each day if you ask me.
