If Carroll Sold By Newcastle – Huge Problems For Ashley

We suppose we’ll have to get used to the nonsense that surrounds Andy Carroll – after all that’s what Andy has to do every single day.

Mike Ashley – don’t think twice – it’s not alright to sell big Andy

After Mike Ashley sacked manager Chris Hughton, the cries of dismay were not just from the Newcastle area, but from all over England, and managers came out in droves to condemn the action taken by a certain ruthless Newcastle owner called Mike Ashley – bomb thrower in chief on Tyneside.

Newcastle fans didn’t like it one little bit, but when Alan Pardew came in just  three days later, even though he was a very unpopular choice as the new manager, Alan said all the right things, and seems to have done all the right things too, and things have died down on Tyneside.

And the players  chipped in too, with a fantastic display and all 3 points  against Liverpool,  in Alan’s first game in charge.

But if Mike Ashley sells Andy Carroll then all bets are off, and we’ll be back to the ridiculous scenes that greeted Kevin Keegan’s dismissal.

We keep reading all these reports about Tottenham Hotspur and now Manchester United and Real Madrid wanting to buy the big Gateshead striker in January, and Alan Pardew has already said Andy’s going nowhere.

But we have no idea what Mike thinks about selling Andy, or anything else for that matter, because he never speaks to the Newcastle  fans.

We don’t think Mike Ashley is quite daft enough to sell big Andy – but there again, we’ve been wrong before about the Newcastle owner – we even thought he was going to give Chris Hughton a new contract  before the end of the year.

Mike Ashley doesn’t have limitless lives at Newcastle, and he’s already used up quite a few of them, but if he sells local hero Andy Carroll – then he should be ready to sell the club and get out of Toon – very quickly.

Mike will become very unwelcome, as well as unpopular on Tyneside,  if that happens.

Comments welcome.

I’m growing tired of the whole if Ashley sells Carroll he’ll be forced to leave etc. We are just fans there is nothing we can do to get him out. We’ve tried to buy him out by the fans but that won’t work, boycotting games won’t work because the team will just get downhearted and end up being relegated again so unless you personally are going to buy Ashley out there is no point in saying “It’s curtains for Ashley.” It’s his club and he can do whatever he wants with it. Another point he has already said he doesn’t want to sell Carroll so quit regurgitating old news!

This is what Harry Redknapp said about selling Modric:

“He is just such a fantastic player, if we start selling Luka Modric we may as well all go home.”

Same can be applied to selling Andy Carroll, if we sell him we might aswell prepare for another season in the championship, you simply cant buy goals in the premier league, look what Bent did last season for Sunderland, he almost single handedly kept them up with his 25 (?) goals in the league so selling AC would be suicide for the club as they’ll lose much more revenue in the long term through relegation so surely Ashley sees this because there is no guarantee that the money spent on replacing AC would replace the goals we would miss from selling him.

A week or two of anger on the websites, followed by a crappy protest for Sky Sports and then everyone will go to the match …

We can only hope Ashley is greedy enough to see that he may be worth £50 million in two years time.

It’s Christmas, let’s not even think about that crap.
Get into the Xmas spirit and stop writing stuff about the fat man selling big Andy.
Talk about how many goals he’s gonna bang in for us during the next 5 years of his contract, and stop reminding us of how unpredictable and stupid cashley is.

3-1 Newcastle on boxing day. Carroll to score all 3!!

    Merry Christmas everyone :0)

if real madrid are interested then maybe we could get ramos, kaka and higuiem. anything else other than a straight swap for ronaldo would ruin my 2011. but its all a load of bollocks just because he is the best young striker in england at the moment so he will constantly be linked with other clubs, we just have to get used to it.

All part and parcel of him doing his job. We had the same crap with Shearer and any of our other number 9s. I don’t think Andy will go anywhere, he’s a local lad and I can’t imagine anybody in Newcastle not wanting to wear that numbered shirt.

    Now, Christmas!

Ed Harrison, I’ve been a reader of this blog for a few years but I must stress, the only reason is to read the fan comments and not the complete shit you post up three times s day. I can’t convey to you in simple words how exquisitely dull your comments are, and how emptily you try to speak for the majority of fans. Let’s look at this latest abortion above, where you imply that Cashley will be unwelcome should caroll be sold. Are you all there in the head Ed? You think cashley is welcome now do you? That us long suffering fans grudgingly accept his ownership? Get real and wake up. We ‘tolerate’ him because the only option open to us after that is a boycott of the team, which is counterproductive for obvious reasons. Secondly, why are you dredging up ‘news’ that is two weeks old? Surely you’re not that bored are you? The club has said he won’t be sold, he has said he wants to stay. What more do you need?  I’ll still read the blog for the fan comments but I’m completely bored shitless of your rambling ill-informed opinions stinking up this otherwise decent page.
