Oh No – Carroll Injured – Misses Wigan Game

There’s some really bad news today that Andy Carroll has been injured and will miss the game at Wigan Athletic on Sunday.

Andy Carroll – will miss next two games

Carroll’s thigh injury is being assessed ahead of the game on Sunday, but it is likely he will miss the next two games at Wigan and at home to West Ham – both crucial games for Newcastle.

Alan Pardew said today:

“Andy’s got a thigh injury, and it’s being assessed,” “But it looks unlikely that he’ll play.”

With a lot of the lower level sides picking up points in the Christmas season, the next two games are shaping up as absolutely crucial games for Newcastle, and this is not good news – and now who will score the goals for Newcastle?

But the good news is that Shola Ameobi is back form his hamstring problems, so maybe Shola and Peter Lovenkrands will get starts up front on Sunday at the DW stadium, where we just have to go all out for a win, or else continue our recent fall down the table.

Nile Ranger could also start, but it is more likely the 19 year-old will be brought on as an impact substitute.

Sunday is a chance for Shola to come back big time for Newcastle, and we really need need the local lad to turn in a very good game against a team we should be beating.

Hopefully Nile will be available or we are completely screwed, who’s gonna score the goals the Keane loan signing will need to be soon.

Aye, sure Shola’s been bad the past few games… where he was playing INJURED.

Are you’s lot saying that he’s never scored before? We’ll be reet with Shola back up top, I guarantee he gets a goal.

I also guarantee we won’t have Robbie Keane playing against Wigan, so divvent be daft man.

Typical – All we have is Shola and Ranger I am Afraid the rest are Not Going to Save us .Best and Lovenkrands are Championship players we wont get Keane unless it is on Loan and Spurs want to sell him not loan him so were Stuffed there. Who else can we get as a Striker has Man city got anyone ?? Mind You if we play Shola up front with Nolan Behind Him as we Normaly do or Ranger we should Do Ok ?? We need to Splash The Cash on A New Quality centre Forward I have said this all along . We have defenders and Midfeilders in abundance now but short up front.

If Carroll has picked up some nagging injury we should rest him so he is fit to batter the mackems.

Our squad strikers should step up now if they want to stay at the club.

shola should have been kicked out the club 10 years ago when it became clear to all who watch that he was never going to make it at the top level

We should get Carlos Vella from Arsenal as he is now available on loan. Spurs say Keane won’t go out on loan and I prefer Vella anyway. If we have to depend on Ameobi to score goals and save us from the drop we’re doomed. This match is crucial and so is the next one. I was dreading a Caroll injury and it has happened on the worst time. I hope Ranger plays as he better and more of a threat to the defense. The only worrying thing is he is yet to score a prem goal for us. Depending on 1 19 year old aint ideal and Ameobi shouldn’t even be at the club still, he’s hopeless.

Really a big minus for us as we really need him because Wigan and west ham should be 2 wins

I guess its Nile Ranger’s turn to step up.

Ameobi is one LAZY player. What Carroll effort in half season is same as what Ameobi did in 10 years!

The reason ameobi NEVER will gain international caps
