Pardew – Three Of Four Performances Have Been Really Good

10:18 am, Tuesday, January 4th, 2011 by Ed Harrison · 3 Comments

Alan Pardew was giving little away today on the coaching front, as news reports linking Newcatsle with Bradford’s Peter Taylor were all over the press.

Alan Pardew – has had good help from Newcastle coaches

What Alan did say about the coaching situation at Newcastle is that he’s getting great support from both Willie Donachie and Steve Stone, since he arrived a short four weeks ago to take over from Chris Hughton on Tyneside.

Alan said:

“It’s difficult for me because I’m getting such good support from Willie and Steve,”

“We’ve had four games and three of them, the performances have been really, really high.”

“It’s difficult. I want to get that balance right, so I’m taking my time. I’ve got three or four areas where I could go.”

Taylor has managed many different clubs, but it’s in the coaching department that he’s regarded as one of the very best.

And with Newcastle concentrating on youth and having to bring them through the ranks, it’s important Newcastle have some top coaches in their ranks.

Peter worked for the English FA for a while,  and his two three-year spells with the England Under-21s, where he managed Steven Taylor,  are what he is remembered for, as he made the England U21 side into a very good side.

We are big fans of  coach Peter Taylor, and think he would be a great acquisition for the Newcastle club.

dont think we could afford wilkins i think if pardew wanted carver it would be done alreadyi think he should possibly bring an ex player back someone like rob lee or steve howey would be great around the place i just think someone who has a lot of experience might find it difficult taking orders from pardew .
