Daily Mirror Story On Carroll Complete Rubbish – Legal Action?

Reports in the Daily Mirror this morning, of Andy Carroll  sustaining a serious injury to his thigh, while on a boozy night out in Newcastle,  are simply untrue and scandalous.

Andy Carroll – Newcastle and Andy should sue paper over story

We had wanted to completely ignore the story, because it seemed all too fishy to us – an exclusive and all that rubbish they put out  this morning.

But we’ll put this story out, and we have to hope the Newcastle club will sue the Daily Mirror or whoever was the initial news source that put this out.

It’s a simply scandalous story and potentially damaging to both Andy and the Newcastle club..

These gossip papers have no right at all to put stories like this out about Andy Carroll,  and he should sue them for character assassination.

Why they are allowed to publish rubbish stories like this in England we simply have no idea, but it’s well known the English press are brutal – and especially with their stars – so Andy has to be some player these days

Carroll is currently out with a thigh injury and off in the warmth of Dubai, and his thigh injury was was picked up in the 2-0 loss at White Hart Lane against Spurs.

A source, who is close to Andy Carroll, said this morning:

“Any talk of Andy getting injured on a night out in Newcastle is just rubbish.

“He was injured at White Hart Lane.” “He was gutted to miss the first two games of 2011 and is hoping to be back soon.”

We’re not kidding when we say the club should go after the Daily Mirror on a legal basis over this specific  story.

These types of immature stories are meant to damage the good name of Newcastle United and their players – and we shouldn’t  stand for it.

I saw this and I’m glad to hear it’s not true. Carroll seemed to be getting out of that and it’d be a damn shame to see him go back.

Hope he’s decent for the mackem game!

I could see this was bulls**t miles away. Newcastle should really sue these malicious papers, we could even turn in this into a profit 🙂

They tried the same thing last season, making stories of discontent and fighting……..seemed to bring a them against us mentality that sees us on 28pts and 8th in prem.
They dont have any gossip so they write crap and because the club is run properly now, i think this will gel us even more, Vuckic ,ranger etc wouldnt want to stay if they were unhappy or felt the club was stagnating.
So Mr Mirrorman, go peddle your crap to the southern shandy drinkers in the souf and leave us to play football.

    SUE THEM FOR DEFAMATION!!!

Defamation= When a statment is releashed that is damaging and downgrading to a person and has 0% truth to it then the victim of defamation has a right to sue for damages or other remedies to it.

Carroll was out in newcastle.. a saw him.. he was pretty drunk so could have fallen over at some point, but doubtfully sustained an injury from it… the only thing hurting was my eyes i saw him casually gamble a small fortune
