There’s been a lot of comments from readers about when exactly Ben Arfa will resume his training at Newcastle.
Ben Arfa – already the darling of the Newcastle fans
And it seems like Alan Pardew will give the French International plenty of time to recover from his serious double leg break.
It appears that Ben Arfa will return to Newcastle early next month – that’s about a couple weeks time – and will then start to get acquainted with both new manager Alan Pardew and Newcastle native John Carver, who became Assistant Manger earlier this week.
A source close to Ben Arfa told the Evening Chronicle from France today:
“Hatem will be given as much time as he needs to come back even stronger.” “There is no point in rushing him back after such as serious injury.”
“He’s in good spirits and working hard.” “He’ll be back next month to watch a game, visit his team-mates and the new manager.”
“And he is looking forward to working with him along with John Carver.”
It certainly makes sense not to rush the Frenchman back, and we have to hope that Newcastle can stay above the relegation fray, which they’ve managed to do all season.
But Newcastle fans are keen to see the Frenchman in action just as early as they can, and when he plays again at St. James Park, Ben Arfa will get one terrific reception.
And of course Ben Arfa has already signed full time for Newcastle, and there were no hitches at all with his contract, and we didn’t hear he wanted inflated wages or any rubbish like that, that we’ve unfortunately heard from other potential new captures.
No, Ben Arfa only wanted to play for Newcastle United, and that’s why he’s on Tyneside, and he made that very clear last August, and now he’s signed up full time through the summer of 2015.
We look forward to seeing the 23 year-old back on Tyneside again, and to see him play in that famous black and white shirt once again.
Comments welcome.

Comment #1God, can’t wait to see him play again.
Lovely footballer.
More of the same (Goodison Park) from him would be very welcome indeed.
You know, I honestly think we are not a million miles off having a very good team, certainly one capable of challenging for a Europe place again next season.
Some have to leave to make this possible.
Perch
Smith
Raylor
Best
Jonas (maybe controversial but there is better)
For a start.

I think if we finish well this year by getting top 10 minimum, we could have a complete overhaul in the summer. There are many players id ship out that we can replace with cheaper, younger and better

Comment #4One of the reasons, perhaps the biggest reason players enjoy coming to SJP is the welcome they get from the fans.
Few teams anf their fans can match SJP in this respect.
When or if they leave,at their choice they soon realise the mistake they make.
Lets give Ben Arfa a massive welcome when he turns out for us.

Comment #6A huge part in Ben Arfa signing permanently is us, the fans, how many other clubs would send an injured loaned player thousands of get well soon messages?
Newcastle is filled with fans that love football so much its 2nd only to their family, some 1st over everything lol. Thats what sets us apart. One club city filled with some of the most passionate fans in the world. Its a goldfish bowl yeah, but if youre as good as ben arfa, youll get nothing but love and praise

Comment #9Just heard a rumour at work that Stephen Ireland will be joining us on loan at some point tomorrow.
My mate at work is a Villa fan and he has been told from a “source” it will be announced tomorrow.
Don’t know whether to believe or not but he found out about Bent handing in a transfer request before BBC/Sky put it on their sites/news channel and also knew Villa would sign him as this source told him which Hotel he was staying at in birmingham.
Don’t know how I feel about him though, I reckon he will do well for us if he does come but I think Pardew should play him just off Carrol (IMO)
Don’t shoot the messenger mind, just thought I’d give you all a little heads up 😀

Comment #19Would be on the fence about alliadiere geordie-gerrard7!
I reckon if we were to look at a striker we should probably offer Mateja Kezman a short term deal to see if he can cut it, think he would work well along side Carroll. Available on a free, surely wouldn’t command a massive wage packet!
Ireland would be a good signing if we utilise his strengths!

Comment #40LOL. Edd Case want’s Jonas out. “there is better”. Where is the better players that we can AFFORD ???? We should be loyal to a player like Jonas. Really sheds blood for this club.
Hatem Ben Arfa: WELCOME BACK! Many here like me think that we have a decent 1st team, but imagine when we get Ben Arfa in that mix aswell. I will never forgive De Jong that pig! Dirty scum PIG!
