There is some news today that Newcastle manager Alan Pardew may be interested in Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner.
Nicklas Bendtner – in action last night at Leeds United
The 35 times capped Danish International seems to think he should be playing more games at Arsenal, and he’s his own number one fan, and may not be as good as he thinks he is.
However, Nicklas had a good game last night at Leeds in Arsenal’s 3-1 win, and put in the perfect cross for Robin van Persie to head home the Gunner’s third and vital goal.
It was only recently that Alan Pardew said he had been impressed with some of the Newcastle strikers, who were getting a chance to shine at Newcastle in Andy Carroll’s absence with thigh injury, and was rethinking whether he wanted to bring in another striker.
And we’d be surprised if Arsene Wenger would even think of allowing the striker to leave Arsenal, when the Gunners are in with a more than decent chance of winning one of the Cups this year.
And Bendtner is said to be a target of West Ham – but who isn’t these days?
With the nonsense going on with Avram Grant, and their lowly position in the league, it could make it difficult for the Hammers to attract any good players in January.
And if the news is to be believed Martin O’Neill even pulled out of becoming manager because of the nonsense going, and we’re just pleased that Newcastle is not getting that kind of news coverage these days.
And on the potential move of his son to Upton Park, Nicklas’ father Thomas said they would not be interested.
We would be surprised if Alan Pardew was considering bringing the Copenhagen-born Bendtner, who has only just turned 23, to Newcastle United.
But maybe a loan move would be something to consider, if Alan is indeed interested.
What do you think?

Comment #42i am not sure i like the way pardew is treating our players this could damage the morale at the club and if our players have a togetherness like we seen the last year and a half i can see pawdew loseing players trust

toonruz, something is definitely not right here, if he doesn’t want to go when apparently one of his best friends Fitz Hall talked him into coming back so maybe he had a backflip?

Think youre wrong there, under hughton the players ruled but under pardew HOPEFULLY the manager rules the roost. Thats the way it should be and prob one of the reasons Hughton wasnt kept.
Also does your source still say we gonna sign tarrabt? Or was it genuinely bs? lol
