Newcastle 1 Tottenham 1 – Goals Video

Here is the goals video for the match today – great goal by Fab Coloccini.

But it’s a poor goal for Newcastle to concede,  when they were 1-0 up and caught short at the back?

It’s not a great video, but at least you can see the goals.

Lennon loves playing against Simpson. The lad is Ok but we really need a better right back if we are going to progress. Right back is the weakest position in our defence and opponents know it. We are safe but we do not want Europe. We do not have a strong squad and a dozen extra games travelling all over Europe would mean lost league points and relegation worries.

Whats the point of getting into Europe with this squad when we play the reserves in the Carling Cup? Pardew will most likely play the juniors!!!!!

I tell you what watching those goals we need Steven Taylor back asap.

Williamson should have flung himself in front of Lennon for that goal but just watched him take the shot.

That is the type of goal Taylor would be full stretch out in front of the attacker.

Williamson has done ok since hes been at newcastle but i think since seeing taylor back its proved Williamson is nowhere near as good.

Jose killed Lennon off the game that’s why he swap to to left wing.

been saying for the longest simpson is very average.. best things about him is positioning and i suppose conditioning but lackig very much in creativity or quality crossing i mean still is young but needs to want more seems content that he has made it o the prem and is in somebodys starting XI.. and it was his fault for lennons goals cause evryone knows you should make a righty go to his weaker foot seemed as is if he gave him the middle thinking willo would help but poor choice by him

I was surprised we drew to be honest. I thought we would take a beating today but the boys made me and many others proud 2day. A big shame about Spurs equalizer cuz when I left work it was 1-0 up for us on the radio. 5 min to make it to the bar and I saw it ended 1-1 only to get me really annoyed. But hey, beggars can’t be choosers and I thought considering the injuries we have it was a good result. Simpson should have pushed Lennon to the left after seeing the highlights. He should never given a player with such pace and wizardry that much space. He’s young and learning and been one of our most consistent players of late. I still prefer Saylor as a RB and I think our defense will be unbreakable like that. Sadly it seems I will never get my wish.I can’t wait for Benny, Carroll an Tiote to come back. And where’s this ‘new’ signing that was so imminent??? Bloody hell looks like we’re leaving it to the last seconds just to make it more interesting. It’s never boring with Newcastle United that’s 4 sure.
