Kadar, Dummet Get International Calls – Donaldson Sent On Loan

Good news today that Tamas Kadar has again been called up for the full Hungary squad.

Tamas Kadar – called up by Hungary again

Tamas missed the Huddersfield 0-0 draw at home to Colchester United on Saturday, due to a hamstring injury.

The 20-year-old defender won his very first cap against Lithuania last November, although he was called up back in the summer of 2008 to the full squad but was injured in training at that time.

He made his debut at  left back, and of course he is currently on a one month loan at Huddersfield Town, where former Newcastle player and coach is the manager.

Tamas picked up the injury during their game against Walsall during the first half, and has been out ever since.

Tamas is still expected to be fit for Hungary’s friendly against Azerbaijan on February 9th, which will be played at the Al-Shabab Stadium in Dubai.

Paul Dummet

And Newcastle local youngster Paul Dummett has been included in the Welsh under-21 squad for their friendly against Northern Ireland, to be played at Wrexham’s Racecourse Ground, also on Wednesday, February 9th.

The left-back,  from Kenton School in Newcastle, was first called up by Wales Under 18s in June of 2008, because his father is Welsh, and the 19 year old has been with the Newcastle United Academy for a full 10 years.

His Newcastle hero is Steven Taylor, another local lad who has captained the England U21 side, and Steven, who turned 25 yesterday, is contracted to the club until the summer of 2016.

Ryan Donaldson

And finally 19 year old midfielder Ryan Donaldson has gone on a one month loan to Hartlepool, it was announced by Sky Sports tonight.

The England under-19 international has only just returned to training following a knee injury that he suffered last month, and he now goes straight into the Hartlepool squad for the League One game with Notts County tomorrow night at Victoria Park.

It’s good to see the Newcastle youngsters getting International call-ups – and also Ryan will now get some playing time at Hartlepool United, and joins quite a few of Newcastle youngsters out on loan at other clubs.

Hey, so how is everybody today, finally free from snow here in the states, tough match this weekend, we were dead tired in injury time we gotta get some players in and some back from injury. Still, we are in a great place lads, at the beginning of the year if somebody would have said we would be in 8th place 1 point and a game in hand off of a possible europa league spot at 7th after 23 games we would have all laughed em off the blog….but here we are mates, here we are…

Clint Dempsey, thats who we need, can play any position on the pitch, bet he could strap the goves on play keeper if we needed, natural right winger/midfielder but plays all over for fulham and leads them in goals, cracking player….With him at the toon, his transfer fee would pay itself 100 times over from new fans in the states buying strips etc…

Apparently City are willing to let SWP leave for absolutely nothing. Ok, he’s on big wages, but not having to pay a sum of 6-10m for him would save us loads and he’s obviously a good player. Last two transfer fees have combined to make £30m, clubs don’t pay that kind of money for rubbish players.

Might be worth the gamble, you just have to hope he can regain some of his best form that got him his initial England call-up.

Mike Ashley will prove himself to be a great owner of this club. He spends his money on himself in casinos and he will not pay stupid prices for players and he will not pay stupid wages. Tevez is on 230K take home a week. Thats 400k before tax. Nearly half a million a week. Its obscene. The whole wage thing has gone crazy. Its time the players got shafted like the bankers. At least the bankers put in a 10 hour day.

He has scored goals in the lower divisions in england and the spl, a very poor league.

I don’t get why people think he will score goals in the epl.

Celtic payed 2.5m for him and they would want atleast double that now. With that kind of money we could get a much better striker.

people kept mentioning gary hooper last night and i do think he is good player but don’t think he would set premiership alight would have paid the 2.5m that celtic did but not sure he would be worth prob 10m celtic would want now, think we need a pacey att winger so we can move bartoon inside where he can influence the play more

I would have Robbie Keane, Elmander, Rodallega, Kevin Doyle, Odemwingie, El-arabi, Daniel Sturridge and Tuncay ahead of Hooper.

Hooper is a good striker and good chance he could hang in the premiership but for 5 mil we could get a proven goal scorer at this level…I.E. Clint freaking Dempsey

put the pipe down mate crack kills, tuncay is a ballhog, too selfish to play in our side he would kill chemistry on and off the pitch, Keane cant get a game with spurs and prob couldnt get one with us cuz he is old, doyle wolves say no more lol, come on mate those are rubbish, Might take rodallega or sturredge maybe but dont know they are better then hooper and sturredge and rodallega would cost twice as much…go give some free stuff away mate, lol, cuz your free opinions suck

Clint Dempsey plays central midfield, usually just off a striker, same position as Nolan. Don’t see the point in signing him when we’ve already got Nolan.

There are other positions that area priority. E.g a quick right winger (El-Arabi, Barnetta, Wright-Phillips) and a proven striker like Robbie Keane or Elmander.

    ????———————-ben arfa—
    ————–carroll————-
dempsey can play all across the mid wing or behind the striker

    Heaherty;

No need to be insulting just coz you have a different opinion to me. Gary Hooper is unproven in he epl. Robbie Keane is the 11th highest scorer in premiership history and he’s only 30. He has never relied on pace so I don’t see what he has lost with age.

The only reason Redknapp wants him out is coz they fell out about something off field last season. If you think he couldn’t do it for us then you must be deluded.

also free giveaway have you ever even seen El arabi play apart from youtube cos a think youd find hes a natural winger or a player to play behind the striker he isnt an out and out goalscorer.. Rodelega doesnt exactly score many, Tuncay cant get a game for stoke, Keanes too old and lost it got no pace, Elmander same type as carroll only with less goals around 20 goals in over 3 seasons and about 9 is this season one word PATHETIC.! a quite like Doyle but again doesnt score many tends to drift out wide too much.. also Odemwingie hes lookin good now yes but could be first season syndrome just wait till next season if they stay up see if he can hack it again.. so out off all the players you said tht leaves Sturridge who is even more unproven than Hooper and would cost a hell of a lot more as hes a future chelsea star and they payed like 4 or 5million compensation for him

Dempsey would pay for himself, there is a huge fulham following here in the states because of clint dempsey. Fulham is a small club with not much world wide backing, but dempsey is huge in the states and because of that and that only fulham is probaly in the top 5 of football clubs supported here in the states. The toon are in the top 5 here as well but if dempsey moved to nufc we would be the most supported club in the states which would be huge for nufc. Imagine the money that would bring to the club, in kit and merchandise sales, people subscribing to nufctv, etc. That transfer would pay for itself 100 times over lads. Football is booming here in the states. Mls is growing and the yanks (us national team) are having more and more success in the game mainly because we have more and more players playing in prem league like, stuart holden-bolton, tim howard-everton, marcus hagnaman-wolves, jonathan spector-west ham etc. We need to get dempsey somebody please tell the fat man it will make money and maybe he would do it…lol Demp can play any position and he leads fulham in goals playing as a support striker…brilliant player
