Sky Sports – Newcastle To Sell Carroll To Liverpool For £35M

Sky Sports are reporting they believe a deal for Andy Carroll has been agreed between Liverpool and Newcastle United.

Andy Carroll – we have to hope this report in not true
The report says Liverpool have agreed a £35M fee to take Andy Carroll to Liverpool, and presumably a deal for £50M has also been agreed between Liverpool and Chelsea.

So Liverpool get their man – Chelsea get their man – and Newcastle lose their best player and local hero.

Oh – and who do we get in to replace Andy with 7 hours left in the window?

Doesn’t  sound too good to us.

Only  this morning Andy said he didn’t want to leave Newcastle, and it’s a sad state of affairs when a local lad, who’s one of the very best, cannot stay and play for his local club, Newcastle United.

If this is true – that”s all we have to say.

Shame on Newcastle United.

Are we in this game to build a top football side at Newcastle again, or are we in it to make money?

On one hand this is a bad idea – he’s scoring for fun, is a local hero and can only get better.

At the same time, £35m is nearly twice the amount we’ve ever sold a player for isn’t it..? If reinvested (admittedly it’ll just go into funding our debts), it’d buy us SEVEN Hatem Ben Arfa’s… Worth thinking about.

Everyone is reading SO MUCH into the press conference being cancelled.

SSN/BBC etc not mentioning the £35M offer.

AC left training as normal. If he was being sold, dont you think he would be kept back in AP’s office speaking to AP/MA/DL?

Tell you what – Twitter and all that crap have so much to answer for, thats where all this sh*t is coming from, you follow all the links about £35M being accepted and I guarantee you will end up on someones Twitter page!

    I bet nowt is happening.

If we’re lucky, the press conference was cancelled because a player has become available and Pardew wants him…

If we do sell AC for £35 M, it will be impossible for us to get anyone else in because prices will be so over-inflated with everyone knowing the amount of cash we have at our disposal.

selling carroll will destroy the team spirit , hes a fking important figure in newcastle, i dont think money is that important ,
think about this ……..$35m for carroll
but if newcastle doesnt sell carrol and they managed to make it in top 5/10 of the epl season at the end, they are getting wayyyyy more money and at the same time carroll value will be definitely more than $35m !!!!!!! dont think short term ,, think LONGGGG TERM!!!!!!!!!!!

If Andy moves to Liverpool, then he is the one who agrees terms, not Ashley.

Sure Ashley will be the one who accepted the bid, but he is a businessman, everything in business has a price.

If Andy goes, then so be it.

Andy Wants to stay he doesn’t want to go and as we all know will be pushed out the door for money not for Newcastle United . Ashley Should Be Locked out Of Newcastle Never to Darken St James Ever Again.

1534: Right then. Another development in the Andy Carroll saga. BBC Sport understands that the Newcastle striker is keen on his proposed move to Anfield. That follows Liverpool meeting the Magpies’ valuation for the big frontman.

    Seems he wants to go…
