Stephen Ireland Move Now Said To Be Doubtful

This is turning out to be the doomsday scenario for Newcastle United, as Sky Sports is now reporting Stephen Ireland’s loan move to Newcastle may be in doubt.

Stephen Ireland – deal now said to up in the air

The report suggests Stephen Ireland’s loan move to Newcastle is now in the balance, and that is after he had undergone a medical last night and agreed terms with the Newcastle club.

However, there seems to have been some complication with Stephen’s medical,  and the deal is now said to be up in the air.

Exactly what that medical condition is, we have no idea, and we suppose the deal could still go through.

Burt after Andy Carroll requested a transfer an hour or so ago, and looks to be on his way out of Newcastle to Liverpool, the doomsday scenario may be happening at Newcastle, as the squad could be left weaker after the transfer window closes.

The idea was to make the squad stronger.

If this deal does not go through, for whatever reason, it would be a massive blow to both Stephen Ireland and Newcastle – but his can always happen when you leave things to the very last moment.

Newcastle will be working their socks off in these last four hours or so of the window to try to bring somebody through the door, and the priority will not only be a striker to compensate for losing Andy Carroll – but for Ireland too – if that deal doesn’t happen.

Oh my.

upset bout ireland but wish people would stop going on blaming the board. if carroll was a true geordie and not turned by money he would make it clear it was the boards choice. in my opion 35.5 mill or whatever there getting plus add ons is too good to turn down

“I’ve turned down Barcelona, Inter Milan, Juventus and Manchester United to play here. I hope everyone already knows how much it means to me to play for Newcastle United.” (Alan Shearer)…… True man, true hero, True LOYALTY, TRUE LEGEND!!! Carroll I hope you rot in prison lad

    Truer words were never spoken.

Oba, yes we are thin but not that bad in midfield.
(and apprently HBA prefers to play a central role as well)

What we need is a right winger (or left if AP could convince Jonas to take the spot?) and a striker. Saying missing Ireland as a Good news is perhaps a bit over but hope you know what I was trying to say.

Guys I’m gutted but more than anything heartbroken about the way our fans on here are all sniping at each other. We’ve lost our prize asset and that it always gonna be hugely upsetting but when we turn on each other then we might as well all give up the ghost.

For those of you saying “don’t blame the board”, you’re off the mark.

Mike Ashley’s strategy is to buy and nurture young players, then sell them for a big profit. And that profit won’t be going back to the club, it will be going in his pocket. He was always going to sell Carroll, no matter what. And guess what, if big bids come in for Tiote and Enrique this summer, he’ll sell them too.

Like Kevin Keegan said, we will never get anywhere while Mike Ashley remains in charge of Newcastle.

Typical Toon. Sell sell sell and then panic buy. We have got rid of 4 players in January and we might get a crocked Ireland. Like we got a crocked Gosling and a crocked HBA. Joke. Then the panic buy starts at 11th hour. Happens every year. Joke club. 35 million for pony tail and we will buy in summer some nonce for 5 million. That leaves 25 mil for the fat man doon the casino. This club will remain cursed as long as the fat man stays. But you lot out there will do nothing about it. He is urinating in the face of your loyalty.

the more i think about it. the better this deal sounds. can get 4-5 really good players for 35m if it gets reinvested

hope carroll is made to live with gerrard. will see if they have the team spirit we do. i honestly think he has played so well because he is comfortable. out of his comfort zone it will be interesting to see how he performs in a club full of “star players”

we are officially a selling club, milner, given, carroll etc, and since selling these players for nearly 60 odd mil we have spent pennies on players in comparison, this is lowest ive felt since relegation. hurts bad. nothing will be spent today and by summer we’ll be in championship and carroll and 35 mil will be forgotten……
