This is turning out to be the doomsday scenario for Newcastle United, as Sky Sports is now reporting Stephen Ireland’s loan move to Newcastle may be in doubt.
Stephen Ireland – deal now said to up in the air
The report suggests Stephen Ireland’s loan move to Newcastle is now in the balance, and that is after he had undergone a medical last night and agreed terms with the Newcastle club.
However, there seems to have been some complication with Stephen’s medical, and the deal is now said to be up in the air.
Exactly what that medical condition is, we have no idea, and we suppose the deal could still go through.
Burt after Andy Carroll requested a transfer an hour or so ago, and looks to be on his way out of Newcastle to Liverpool, the doomsday scenario may be happening at Newcastle, as the squad could be left weaker after the transfer window closes.
The idea was to make the squad stronger.
If this deal does not go through, for whatever reason, it would be a massive blow to both Stephen Ireland and Newcastle – but his can always happen when you leave things to the very last moment.
Newcastle will be working their socks off in these last four hours or so of the window to try to bring somebody through the door, and the priority will not only be a striker to compensate for losing Andy Carroll – but for Ireland too – if that deal doesn’t happen.
Oh my.

Comment #327right my thoughts, Carroll has supposedly been injured for weeks, and as far as has been disclosed no one could actually find anything wrong with him, so why did the club not have a plan “b” surly all the warning signs have been put up by Carroll, so why did we not have a backup plan in case we sold him, why have we got absolutely no one lined up, and we have let go 3 forward, without anyone coming in, this is back to Ashley’s terrible decisions, on a par to the ones that got us relegated, so after thought I do blame Ashley, LLambias, & for the gutless (Carrols not for sale) Pardew, how can anyone have any confidence in him again, the sooner these cockney clowns leave the better.
