The following policies should be taken into consideration before commenting:
An update on my health situation - we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects - diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.
And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones.
There are no treatments left for me to go on.I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and we will treat the side effects of the treatments I have had.
It's down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will now take its course.
I hope Newcastle can get many wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
Thanks for all your help through the years - it's very much appreciated

Comment #3Let’s all take a deep breath.
Carroll has gone – whether or not he jumped, or there was too little time for a replacement, or squad morale is affected, nolan encouraged him to go, etc. It’s neither here nor there anymore.
I would love to see Honda, Chamberlain, Hulk, Wolfy – and that calibre of player come in the summer. I think we could be in for an ugly hang-on job in this league now, despite the apparent foothold of 30 points with a third still to play. Which of those players is going to want to join a team seemingly in chaos again?
Carroll could still arguably be a glorified steely championship player riding the wave of a galvanised, newly promoted side with fantastic team spirit. We’ll see.
I still have heard no good reason why we didn’t bring in a vital winger and striker days/weeks before ‘Blue Monday’. Or why, N’gog on loan wasn’t signed as a condition of the last minute Carroll deal.
Answers on a postcard.

Comment #7i know there are stil alot of doubt about Ranger but he seemed to b the only person really working against Fulham so i think he deserves to start ahead of Best who was very very lazy and Lover who lets be honest is not much of a target to aim for

Comment #11lol @ geordiegerman, i just feel that if we just keep giving Ranger the opportunities whn he finally takes one he could easily have the same impact Carroll had theyare the ame sort of size and the same sort of player and the same sor of reserve team goal scoring record except Carroll has developed a bit more. Ranger is the future.

Comment #14Really good site, not just an abuse board like some
Ashley has a long term plan though would question if it is truly fit for purpose with regards to football – unless we pile the 35m in front of the goal then the fans gain no benefit from sale

Comment #15Thought i’d give you some news about the AC transfer – If you don’t believe me you don’t have too but if you look back a few days I came on here and told you that Andy Carroll left becasue Liverpool offered him £80,000 and £3.5m signing on! The next day Llambias came out and did an interview stating the same thing!
They aslo offered to loan us Fabio Borini but it was turned down by Newcastle!
Anyway as you Chelsea had a bid for Roman Lukaku turned down on the night that AC went to Liverpool – NUFC had agreed with Chelsea to loan Lukaku for the rest of the season if the bid had been successful which every though it would be! Although we agreed to sell Carroll his original Transfer request was turned down until Chelsea contacted Necastle with this propasition!

He’s “got potential”, but that won’t do us any good this season. He needs to start scoring.
I admire the optimism of those who say that all he needs is one goal and he’ll start scoring all the time. Really?
If that is the case, all well and good, but he needs to get that goal first, rather than missing open goals at close range, or just not passing to a better placed Peter Lovenkrands.
I want him to be the future, but I’m going to need convincing.

Comment #19I would play Nolan up top tomorrow and stick Gutherie in the middle with Tiote.
Think Danny has got better engine and a much better eye for a pass than Nolan.
To be honest I think Nolan is a passenger in midfield and ony interested in the opposition penalty box. Also gives away loads of needless freekicks chasing back towards his own goal due to his chronic lack of pace.
Dont get me wrong his goal return is invaluable so lets shove him up there.
The only player we really have who knows where the goal is!

Comment #21well, lads, i just believe that all season when are backs have been up against the wall the lads have come back swinging and fought there way out. Time to see if the lads have any fight left. Time to see if Judas leaving has killed off any chance this team had of taking the huge step of not only prem league survival but mid table or better. If we can get a result tommorow you will have your answer. Not a better time to play arsenal as they have played 25 games in the last 30 days lol and they have to be on empty. They looked it fot the first 70 minutes against everton and then the toffees fail apart. So tommorow will tell us what we need to know bout our squad hopefully we get a result and the lads are still fighting….

Comment #28Much as pains me to say it we need to kick them off the park tomorrow.
They are shocking defending set pieces so Willo needs to attack the ball like he means it from corners/freekicks.
Tiote needs to get tight to Fabregas and not give him a moments piece, Cesc is due a sending off so lets push him hard tomorrow.
Simple, kick them + setpiece success =3points
Piece of p1ss this management lark.

Comment #37Just heard about Colo being extremely for tomorrow – I thought he looked as if he was struggling towards the end of the Fulham game. It will be interesting to see when they play side by side, who turns slower, Campbell or Williamson. It will probably the closest thing all afternoon. I’m afraid that this week from hell is going to get an awful lot worse. By Monday, I predict that West Ham, who were in all kinds of shit just 3 weeks ago, will only be 3 points behind us, and will go on to finish above us. God help us. RIP.

Comment #38as it should pain you Selby……… never the answer….. when I read that I felt the same as when barton punched pedersen or collocini elbowed elmander or lovenkrands trying to make schwarzer drop the ball last match. I like watching a team who just try to play well…. no cheating, no, not turning up just trying their hardest then truthfully it will give me a glimmer of hope that the team spirit hasnt COMPLETELY gone.
