this blog is a bit dead these days, strange how when the transfer window is open we get so many people commenting. tbh i would prefer something in the middle as too many chefs spoil the broth but we do need a bit more action round here.

i am not taking a shot at the blog dennis, i think it is a great blog and ed does a great job atr making it happen, i am just moaning a bit at how we get so many people who show an interest during transfer windows but then there is no-one interested in commenting now.
i suppose things are going ok at the moment so we dont have any of the doom slayers at the moment and i am sure things will liven up a bit with our next loss as they will all be ready to start talking about relegation etc..

    Ok well here’s my punt….

My top summer targets in order of preference…

    Elmander (Free)
    Marveaux (Free)
    Larsson (Free)
    Gervinho (12m)
    Ireland (10m?)
    Samba (6m?)
    LB cover

    Sell:
    Campbell
    Guthrie
    Smith
    Xisco
    Routledge
    Lova
    Best
    R Taylor

    Team:
    LB – Enique/Cover/Kadar
    CB – Collo/Samba/Taylor/Will’son/Kadar
    RB – Simpson/Perch/R Taylor

    LW – Arfa/Marveaux/Fergy
    CM – Barton/Tiote/Ireland/Nolan/Gosling/Vuckic
    RW – Jonas/Gervinho/Larsson/Barton

    CF/ACM – Gervinho/Elmander/Arfa/Ameobi/Ranger/Lova/

    Team:

    ………………………….Harps……………………….

    Simpson……Samba…….Collo…….Enrique

    ………………….Barton…………..Tiote…………….

    ..Marveaux…………..Ireland……………….Arfa.

    ………………………….Gervinho………………………

Subs (rotate): Foster, Krul, Taylor, Kadar, Elmander, Ranger, Ameobi, Nolan, Gosling, Larsson, vuckic, fergy, Jonas, R Taylor, Perch, RB cover

Loads of depth and options. We can dream – of course in reality we will buy a bunch of unknowns but I don’t mind if they’re as good as Tiote!!

tough match, had to record it and just watched it. We bossed the entire game, no finishing….lovenkrands is shite. Enrique and Jonas dominated rovers with ease but nobody could finish. Ranger has to start in place of mcloven. He is not in form and quite honestly isnt on pace at this level. We are a very solid team with no strikers right now and i think are only answer is to start ranger….at least we got a point but it should have been 3….

I agree with the sargeant. We should just start with Ranger and Best. Once he has his first goal, he may be our new 20 goal a season wonder coming through. We need someone up top to knock them in as we make more than enough half chances and the build up play has been there all season.

All this talk of Gervinho etc. worries me. We need a proven PL goalscorer as, if we take a 10 mil punt (unlikely) on a foreign forward, we might fall flat on our faces. Easier said than done though.

What does everyone think of Obinna at West Ham?

This is the table league in the lat 6 games:

    Position Team Points
    1) Arsenal 14
    2) Liverpool 14
    3) Manchester United 13
    4) Tottenham Hotspur 11
    5) Fulham 11
    6) Birmingham City 11
    7) Chelsea 10
    8) Aston Villa 9
    9) Manchester City 8
    10) Everton 8
    11) Newcastle United 7
    12) Blackburn Rovers 7
    13) Stoke City 6
    14) Wigan Athletic 6
    15) Wolverhampton Wanderers 6
    16) West Bromwich Albion 5
    17) West Ham United 5
    18) Sunderland 4
    19) Bolton Wanderers 4
    20) Blackpool 1

Blackpool is in a horrible position, Sense the Beginning of the year they had 7 Loses, 1 Draw and 1 Win.

Birmingham and Fulham are doing great right now compare to their whole season.

Liverpool have the best improvement and are now with 14 points out of their last 6 games and are now in the best position ever this year.

Scum – Because we don’t win, and no one has stability except Liverpool in the last month, They staid in the same place +/-. But are in a shit form sense Bent left them.

Bolton lost power and sense they won against us 5-1, they are going down.

NEWCASLTE: Well, we are holding up, but we are not collecting points. In our last 5 games 4 draws and a lose. Not that good.
