Ben Arfa Back In Early April For Newcastle First Team

It looks like the official game back for Ben Arfa will be the home game against Wolves on April 2nd.

Ben Arfa – back playing in early April in first team!

And including that game, there are 8 league games left of the season, so with any luck the 23 year-old French star will be available for what could be a very  important run-in for the team.

And let’s face it – Newcastle are in with a chance of getting 7th place – and that has been enough to get in the Europa Cup these last two seasons for Fulham and Liverpool.

Maybe we’ll not make it – but it’s a huge incentive for the lads through the end of the season, and we have to think part of Pardew’s contract is a bonus, if he gets the team into European competition.

Apparently his contract is low on guaranteed  wages, but loaded with incentives, which sounds good to us.

The  Newcastle club – quite rightly – have not put any pressure on the lad, as the main thing with serious injuries like both Ben Arfa and Dan Gosling are recovering from – is to make sure they are 100% recovered first and foremost.

This is what Alan Pardew told the Evening Chronicle today about the French International:

“You’d like to think he’s got every chance of playing against Wolves.” “The Stoke game is probably too soon for him.”

“He will not be toned up as he has been out for so long. He’s running, but he’s a good month away.”

Of course Ben Arfa suffered an awful double leg-break at Eastlands back in early October, and Ben Arfa is already a darling of the Newcastle fans, and he is some player – that’s for sure.

I wish I could have hit a ball like he did for that fantastic goal against Everton – it was pure technique – beautiful technique – that he can hit a ball like that from a standing start – unbelievable.

So let’s hope Ben Arfa is back for the Wolves game (and all 3 points?), and Newcastle fans can welcome the lad back – with a great ovation.

Let’s not forget what this lad has had to put up with – it’s been hell and high water over the last six months.

But he can become a fantastic player for Newcastle United!

Comments welcome.

Last time I was looking forward to seeing somebody in a Newcastle shirt again, was when we re-signed Beardsley.

Can’t wait, really looking forward to having him back. Shame it can’t be sooner but definatley would preffer him 100% fit rather than 80%.

    @ overseas newcastle

You are the worst attempt of a fake wind up account i have ever experienced in my career of using the internet. Constantly looking for bites but you are never sucessful. Do us all a favour shut down your computer and go crawl back into the grubby little hole (pennywell) that you came from.

I still believe he has the ability to suceed at N.U.F.C. My only concern is how will cope when tackles are flying towards him. As long as he doesn’t get injured with the rest of the season. I believe his belief will be as strong as ever. HWTL

Overseas, Stardust was one of the most popular intelligent, perceptive and charming posters I’ve ever seen. In fact, his fame and renwown were universal…… a legend, a legend in his own lunchtime!

He would often appear under pseudonyms in the hope of fooling us into thinking that such a massive intellect could had by so many. He failed though – there were always little hints he’d leave about his true identity and sometimes they were so discreet, they were often missed by many.

His greatest weakness though, is he’d never be any good at a masquerade ball – his ego invariably outs him!

    @ geordiekris

totally agree that we should be cautious with him against wolves (if that’s when he’s back) but thats exactly the type of game where we need him the most, against a ‘well organised’ defence where a bit of magic is the only way through.

Well organised defence? far from it, because if this were true they wouldn’t be rock bottom 🙂

Il Start off by Never again speaking or writing his Name Because He seems to be mentioned in every blog ED writes And every other blog or newspaper Related to Newcastle united…”THE £35 MILLION WE GOT 4 him Is Known as the **** ******? Money So i Will Use Initails J i! “PLAYER J,I.? For another person Famous 4 His betrayal for 30 Pieces of silver ? Iv read some website that PLAYER J,I?Was sent to Dubai In early Jan 2011 By Newcastle in the hope that a warm weather break would speed up his recovery ahead of the derby against Sunderland on January the 16th But he,s Still Not fit “NOW” ITS Been 9 Weeks so he never had any chance of playing And now his new club Liverpool still dont no when he will play again ..?Now its seems that while he was out there in Dubai A deal was Agreed with Liverpool.. Fat Ash planned this january 31st DEADLINE DAY Sale Knowing when it went threw with only a Hours to spare? “HE” “ashley Was Covered in Several ways There was no time to “BUY A “Replacement” There go no Spending £££ And Player j i? Did nothing to try stay At “NEWCASTLE UNITED”since Jan the 1st 2011 player ji New a few clubs were interested in him He wanted out Again That covers ashley Back? Player j,i claimed he worshiped N.U.F.C So we are to believe In the matter of maybe 2 to 3 Hours He Decided Liverpool was where his heart was The Fact was He Wanted the move 2 Liverpool …So Fat Ash comes out this deal looking great and smelling of roses??? So All ashley has done is sell a player Who Wanted to move And got a Massive 35 Million Pounds Plus a 25% sell on fee………. COME ON MAN ONLY A FEW MONTH AGO HE SIGNED A NEW 5 YEAR DEAL GOT HIS DREAM OF WEARING THE FAMOUS BLACK & WHITE NUMBER 9 SHIRT LIKE HIS IDOL ALAN SHEARER.
