The Newcastle fans can and will play a major role in ensuring Newcastle United stay in the Premier League this season.
This is Newcastle United
Newcastle get the best support of any side in the Premier League, and there will be around 50,000 fans at St. James’ Park this Saturday, to cheer on the lads to hopefully their second win in the last 11 games.
Newcastle will have the third highest home gate of any club in the Premier League, and will be ahead of clubs like Chelsea and Liverpool, and only behind Manchester United and Arsenal is the average size of their home gate for the season.
It seems like Alan Pardew is depending on that phenomenal crowd support, as he told the local Newcastle press today:
“I know our crowd can make the difference and help the players.” “The last two games have been disappointing for our fans, but we have been unfortunate with injuries and suspensions.”
“We have to make it as difficult as we can for Wolves, and we need the crowd to play their part – as they always do.” “The game with Arsenal was a big example of that and you could really feel the power of the fans that day.”
“When the mood in our stadium is right we have every chance against any team.” “The fans have been brilliant with us and we can only thank them again.” “At the end of the day we really need them with us.”
It’s very important that Newcastle take their opportunities against three sides in particular, who are still to play at Newcastle this season.
Those sides are Wolves, Birmingham and WBA in that order, and all three sides are fighting relegation, so it’s a great chance for Newcastle to gain 3 points on each of those teams when they visit Tyneside.
The Newcastle fans at the game on Saturday can make a huge positive difference for the side, and a win would help calm things down on Tyneside.
And for those fans in the US, there are rumors that Newcastle plan to visit the USA in the summer – that would be good.

Comment #41Those that give Ashley credit for saving the club, it did not happen as NUFC were not about to go bust, we were never as much in debt as people think, we have a stadium that would cost £300m+ to build, take away the losses caused by Ashley’s own hand’s we were looking at about £100m worth of debt although larger than most fans would like, when this is put into perspective it’s peanut’s although I would like to run at least at break even. fat Freddy was about to re develop the south stand, this could have wiped out the debts in one go, yes we were up the creek but at the time we had 52,000 paddle’s. so those who believe the hype, i have fairy’s at the bottom of my garden.

Comment #45As always I’m going for blind optimism!
I really couldnt be arsed to spend my days dwelling on the supposedly shit way the club is being run.
I’m just staying positive and hoping next season will be a good one haha.

Comment #46But his mistakes cost the CLUB not himself, we lost players, and trimmed wages and had to start afresh. with the lack of funds coming in and the lost of the TV Rights etc.. from being in the EPL he put us out of pocket as a club by MANY millions because of his stupidity.
The truth will be in the summer, if he doesnt “Re-Invest” if he knows he cant sell our best player (maybe) lose our second and then sell/loan out our fringe players and NOT bring in the quality we should in the summer.
If we start the new season WORSE than the START (not fron Jan) then he HAS to go, we should be going foward not backwards.

Comment #47Jesus cant believe all you suckers are backing Cashley,
Angry man is right we wont get a penny of the Carroll money, pardew is a puppet, St James’ @ sportsdirect.com will be sold for scrap and we will watch our beloved toon play on the town moor in blue square league by next season, Keegan will be crucified along with Shearer by Ashleys hand, in sacrifice to the gambling money god – Aspers the omnipotent, Enrique barton etc will be sold for £2 to the mackems(who by the way will win the treble next season) and be replace by 45 years odl ex players who are all amputees, Instead of watching football we will all have to watch llambias and ashleys take turns on our mothers, while spitting in our faces and we have to enjoy it. We’ll give ameobi a 10 year contract and the number 9, on 100k a minute but first we will amputate his legs. All ashley cares about is money to the point he has it puréed and he puts it on his sarnies + uses it as lube. Smith will be given a contract extension and bits of tiote will be fed to him as a reward for every red card he gets, Oh if only houghton were here we would be top of the league carroll would never have been sold shearer would regain his youth and return,
And Finally the world will end in 2012 not because of solar flares or mayan predictions but Ashley will fart gaseous money which will kill everything apart from mackems (Who will jump at the opportunity to inbreed, for the sake of the human race of course), Leaving the world populated by deformed mackems who will still produce toon shirts to wipe their backsides with andalso organise a toon team but just to beat themtwice anually before killing them all.
Either that or everything will turn out fine and its only football anyway so at the end of the day its their to enjoy not to cry about and allow to get you depressed

Comment #50I swear some of you only support the club so you have something to moan about.
Ashley is here to stay whether you like it or not. Pardew is here to stay whether you like it or not, so unless you have a spare £500m laying about be quiet and support the club you all claim to love so much.
Of course everything I’ve just said will be ignored as the vultures sweep in and disregard everything I say because I’m not slicing my wrists.

Comment #53Anyone who listened to the you tube commentry of Newcastle V Arsenal match and doesn’t get that kids excitment feeling then shouldn’t be here.
Not everything is right but for me listening to that commentry gives me something I can only get with the Black and White blood running through my veins. So as someone once said I’d luv it luv it to see the positives in the club out balance the negatives and that starts again this Saturday.
