Here is the Alan Pardew BBC interview after the disappointing 1-1 draw to Blackpool, but in the other games most results went Newcastle’s way, and only Sunderland gained on Newcastle, when they beat Wigan 4-2 at home.

I was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in February 2017 and completed four months of chemotherapy in late July and will continue to have hormone treatment.
The cancer spread in the bones but it has been stabilized and has not spread further.
I am still recovering from some of the side effects of the chemo treatment - it's mainly severe fatigue and exhaustion.
Stage 4 cancer is not curable so I will continue to have cat scans and bone scans every four months to ensure the cancer is not spreading.
It is as it is - these things happen - and I will do my best under the circumstances.

One of our avid readers Kacper Tylenda from Poland was the person who came in during April, 2017 and redesigned this web-site from top to bottom.
We think he did a fantastic job to modernize the site with the roll-out on Thursday May 18th surprisingly smooth.
I am so appreciative of his help.
Kacper is starting his own business in web-design so if you want a website built or know of people who want to redo their sites in any way – here’s his portfolio.

Comment #3After Pardew I watched the Hadaway interview. You just have to admire his honesty. I’m not talking about the penalty calls, I mean him taking on the Man U’s, Liverpool’s Chelsea’s and the FA and all that sort of stuff about smaller teams being at a disadvantage. He’s not lying.

Comment #7@GordieGerman. Spot on. When we keep reading that everyone is shite, you start to think so too. I have always said that if we manage 17 spot this season, that is great. Everything more this season is just a great plus. Stay happy, it looks like we are staying in the EPL 🙂

Comment #8I thought Ireland looked decent when he came on. His vision is really good, he always looks for the forward pass and rarely gives the ball away.
We need a quality forward and right back next season. Danny Simpson lets wingers get past him too often. And of course we need someone to hold the ball and score 15 – 20 goals up front.

Comment #9I think Ireland would be a good buy. He has shown he is a decent player, and he is only 26 I think. He would strengthen the midfield/attack.

Comment #10We are safe and we should celebrate. That is the extent of our ambitions. Under this owner and this manger, does anybody seriously expect us to win anything????? So does it really matter whether we come 16th or 10th? We still win nowt. As long as this owner is with us, I will take 4th bottom every year. At least we stay in the league and can pray every summer that the ……. diappears over the horizon so that we can claim our club back. We are staying up. Open the tinnies. Now lets dream about the fat twat selling up in June. Nightmare if he is still here in August. And take Parpoo with you!!!!!!!!

Comment #16We are looking at a 10th upwards finish not our originally targeted 17th. We have stayed out of the relegation scrap and have discovered our squad strengths and weaknesses. We can tie up players now look at the new recruits etc for next season. And for all the negheads, our scouts are being reported everywhere doubt We went to anderlecht to go shopping.

Comment #20some people need to get a grip on reality. It’s like the last 2 seasons didn’t happen or the downward spiral that has been going on long before Ashley ever came a long. Stop living off the reputation we had in the mid 90s or under Bobby Robson them days for now are long gone and people need new expectations which is to build and push on which we are slowly doing.

So whats so different from any other manager unless you go back to the 1950’s & before.. we’ve won nowt except a European trophy thats not recognised by Uefa… whoopyfeckindo…!!!
Look at all the money spent by FFS & we still won nowt, all the money SJH put into the club & we still won nowt…. you problem is, you want everything now.. well if thats the case, feck off & support Manc Citey instead yeah… fans like you are really starting to boil my p!$$ with your stupid, blinkered post about ‘we’ll never win anything under this owner’ rubbish…
It’s our first season back in the PL & we’ve safe for another season, now we can build on that.. what did you want, Ashley to spend 50 zillion on players & watch us get relegated again.. it ain’t gonna happen fella.. now we’re safe, we can spend money on players this summer & move forward, 1 step at a time, so if you’re unhappy at that, move down south & support the Mancs instead yeah!!!

You’re a flamin idiot!!!! Did we win anything under the last owner & the managers he employed?? no, not even after 15yrs of spending stupid amounts on overpaid wasters… so now we have a ew owner & manager & you’re not giving them a few years… pathetic…
