    Steven Taylor by far! Immense in the first half!

    have newcastle been linked with any Right backs so far?

    Im hoping for A first team of

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Harper~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    ~~New Rb~~~Staylor~Colo~~~M”bengue~~
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Tiote~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    ~~Barton~~~~~~~Nolan~~~~~~~~~Jonas~~

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Arfa~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    ~~~~~~~~~~Sturridge / Gervinho~~~~~~~~~

    Or

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Harper~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    ~~New Rb~~~Staylor~Colo~~~M”bengue~~
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Tiote~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    ~~Barton~~~~~~~Nolan~~~~~~~~~Arfa~~

    ~~~~~~~~Sturridge ~~ Gervinho~~~~~~~~~
    Would make me a very happy man,
    IN:
    Sturridge 10mill
    Gervinho 10mill
    M’bengue 7mill
    A new rightback 4-8mill?
    Secret CM im gonna guess around 5-8mill?
    Cost: 31-42mill
    Out:
    Smith – 2mill (if lucky)
    Perch – 1mill (if lucky)
    Enrique – 12-15mill
    Total: 15-18mill
    Total available funds (if Ashley gives it to the club):
    35mill + 15-18mill + 7.2mill = 57.2mill – 60.2mill
    If we get the 5 targets we would still have atleast 15.2 mil for Ashley to use on Wages etc…
    Doesnt sound bad
    davybtoon, yes I did. His work rate has been phenomenal this season and even though his end product is not the best, to say he wasn’t missed is an insult.
    Just back from the match. Decent game and a fair result. Brilliant atmosphere hope the singing section finds a home next season.
    Am not going to go through the bad because there is no point.
    For me the lap of honour was a shame because I wanted more to stay but it was very good with nolan on crutches walking round with his bairns and Barton. Benny was looking healthy.
    Jose was very chuffed his name was chanted as they went round as was Barton. Great season and great group of players!
    From 3-0 up, a tasty pasta sauce on the go, and wigan going down – we throw away a chance to finish top half above blunderland, I burn the sauce and Wigan stay up… not a very good day.
    That said, irritating rather than the sheer heartbreak of a relegation, so some perspective is called for.
    I see the knives are out on here already:( cue 3 months of tedious fantasy team sheets – none of which include Nolan…
    HWTL!!!!
    can’t ashley see pardew is a rank failure of a manager. tactically he is truly appalling. if I was ashley i would be very worried about letting pardwho spend any money on players dn which half decent players would be attracted to the club by him ???
    I wouldn’t look any further than Martinez for proper manager. works miracles on peanuts and play great foootball.
    Imagine being one of the backroom staff missing out on 500K and the club on 2.4M because the idiot making subs on the sideline. Smith for Ferguson when you’re playing at home. Give me strength !!
    @Boonarmy
    where would Barton feature in the squad then? Central Midfield over Nolan? Where would Nolan (Captain) play then :/ I cant see Pardew dropping the captain to the bench, after scoring 12 goals…
    On top of that we have a mystery CM apparantly almost done and dusted….
    am i the only one that thinks we have far too many Central Midfielders…
    as oppossed to him not doing the lap of honor and just going straight home to the missus?
    Surely that would be a far stronger indication of him leaving..
    Anyone else see that Ancelotti would be willing to take the West Ham job?!!
    I know stability is the key etc, but I would gladly take Carlo over Pardew any day. He will attract a better class of player to the club, is a proven winner, and on top of that seems a really nice bloke.
    Very positive mate well done. We have had a great season after all we did think we would struggle but we have done fine. A lot of us said we would take 17th but look we finished 12th. We do need 4-5 good players and i hope to god we can attract them.
