Luuk de Jong great player. Very young and physical would be a brilliant signing!

Congrats to TK. Also, this should demonstrate that there is life outside of the top 4 for players hoping to get call-ups for their respective nations. If nothing else, this can only show that the toon is up-coming, and an attractive prospect for players.

I see Ed is already speaking Dutch; “tow yojhn g golakeeprrs”
Joking aside, this is wonderful news for Krul, who is guaranteed to have a strong career ahead of him. Keep up the good work son

not the best keeper on the planet and never will be. He is just a solid EPL keeper. If he is to ever become amazing then all the big clubs in the world will snap him up.

Now he is a full international £5mill more onto his price.

Well done tim. Would love to say thoroughly deserved but he’s a bit too shaky for top class international football atm. Can only improve him as a player though. COME ON KRUL!

Nufc_mo, if that’s true about Ashley ditching his policy of not paying inflated wages. He’s going to be a busy man, as the players will be queuing up outside his office.

We have got to remember Timmy is only 23 years of age, and still has another 7 + years of learning before he will reach his peak.

Potential there to be a top quality goalkeeper in my view.

Morning everyone, I was already going along to this game here in Montevideo, now an extra reason to pull out the Newcastle top.
Speaking of top young talent in Holland, Nicolas Lodeiro is a top attacking midfielder, straight out of Gascoigne mould.

Id be over the moon if we got Uchida!

    @ my Dream team,

That team has alot of pace, especially on the wings.

Menez and Arfa can seemingly produce something out of Nothing,

Barton has show he can control the Center of the field and has produced dozens off beautiful passes.

Gervinho and Sturridge are proven goal scorers, the latter proving he can do it week in week out in the EPL

More importantly, that line up keeps the Spine of our team which is very important… (Staylor, colo, Tiote and Barton)

Hope he get his full senior International Cap – good for him and good for us

For anyone wanting is to sign Patty VanAanholt, sorry to disappoint but he has just tweeted:

“This is the Happiest day ever…;) going on holiday … And for all the chelsea fans.. I’m staying at the bridge another 4 years …. 🙂 ”

Would have liked him to join us, although would still like him to come in on loan to help provide some competition for Jose (or Jose’s replacement..).

pardew only won 5 out of 22 not great but not bad at all considering he never really had a good striker for about 19 of those games eh im sure he only had carroll for 2/3 games weve played better football under him. most of the games ive been to this season weve played good attacking football just no striker up top to get the goals ameobi lovenkrands there not footballers them like there f***ing hopeless.so considering that i think weve done fine. give pardew a chance why do yous guys all rate hughton so highly all he really done was get us promoted but i could of done that with the squad he had wasnt hard. most teams struggle when they get relegated cause they sell most of there top players we kept most of ours thanks to ashley another man most of you on here slate im not his biggest fan either but its thanks to him that were back in the premier at first time of asking. we’ll see what his intentions are this summer if we spend big amount of money then hes hanging about and wants european footy if we spend nowt then were in bother!

I think the Europe spots should be given to the top teams in our country which Birmingham and Blackpool are not in that bracket
