9:36 am, Friday, July 22nd, 2011 by Dr. Ed Harrison · 28 Comments

Here is information for Newcastle fans attending the Columbus Crew game next Wednesday evening, and there is still time to get your tickets.

The arrangements have been made by ToonArmyAmerica and Jared Stimson of that organization, has asked me to put out the information, which of course I’m only too pleased to do.

Columbus Crew v Newcastle United is at the Crew Stadium is on July 26th,  and you can purchase your tickets here.

Pre/Post Match Parties

Crew Supporters Union in conjunction with Toon Army America and Fourth Street Bar Grill are throwing a massive party the night before the Crew-Newcastle Friendly and we hope you’ll join us!

Fourth Street is fencing in their back parking lot for a beer truck and live music from The Nephews. There will be 1/2 price drinks and apps till 9pm,a raffle for an autographed O’Rourke jersey, and probably a free commemorative shirt giveaway.

It will also be the first place you can get your hands on the sweet Crew-Newcastle Friendly commemorative scarf we put together.

Toon Army America are proud to announce an open training session to the public at Crew Stadium on Monday, July 25th from 10am to 11am. Fans should enter through Gate 6 on the West Side of the stadium.

    Lille are short of cash,

    They won championship and must have championslge money.

    sold players – gervinho, cabaye

  • 4 Eastander // Jul 22, 2011 at 10:05 AM

    Yeah thats partly why they sold gervinho and cabaye because they are in a lot of debt apparently

  • 5 NUFC_Richyg01 // Jul 22, 2011 at 10:06 AM

    @4

    They had no choice in selling Cabaye, we activated his release clause

  • 6 Eastander // Jul 22, 2011 at 10:07 AM

    What are the odds on More Injurys in this game then ??
    Mike Ashley Needs to get the Cheque Book Out for Nzogbia and Erding !!!!!!!!!! or we are going to have a relagation Battle This season !!! If he thinks the likes of smith’ guthrie’ amiobi’ jose etc are going to stay fit then he is bloody thick !!!! Loosing Nolan was a Stupid Move…. We needed Nolan and Cabaye not just one of them !!!!!! ALSO WERE ARE ALL OF THESE ASHLEY LOVERS COMEING FROM ON HERE ?????

  • 11 Stuart // Jul 22, 2011 at 10:20 AM

    Did you go to school Lee Dodd or are you not old enough yet? Who puts capital letters in the middle of sentences?

    Also, cheer the f@ck up. The season hasnt even started yet and you’re condemning us to a relegation battle. Miserable sod!

  • 12 Eastander // Jul 22, 2011 at 10:22 AM

    Lee Dodd, there arent any ‘Ashely lovers’ on here, just realists who know there isnt going to be much money spent and who are trying to be positive and contructive with what we have, its all about making progress and you cant seriously tell me you think the squad is weeker than last year

  • 13 Indian Magpie // Jul 22, 2011 at 10:22 AM

    Tevez wants to leave England bcoz his wife would nt move to England.

    Please tell me how that translates to him coming to NUFC. is NUFC nt in england.

    I think we need a Sponsor for TEVEZ’s Wages.

    To be honest, i don’t get what everyones problem is this transfer window! Most premier league clubs are yet to do much business, villa have lost 16 players and only brought in a goal keeper! Personally, I feel with Ba, Cabaye and Marveaux coming in, and Ben Arfa and Gosling (this lad is decent!) who didn’t play last season, I wouldn’t trade our summer activity so far with any other premier league club!!! would you all rather be like sunderland and buy 9 average players quick fire? In all transfer windows the most business gets done in the last 2 weeks of august! Personally i expect another 3-4 players! we’ve got a lot of deadwood that needs shipping out too! somehow don’t think are involvement in the transfer window is quite finished yet! chin up, cheer up!

    Ameobi does he supply you with a free pie and a Bovril at half time ??

  • 18 Stuart // Jul 22, 2011 at 10:33 AM

    Jesus, I wouldnt brag about being that old if I was you, I mean, you can’t even spell. ‘Court’, ‘Faver’, and they say kids are more stupid these days.

  • 19 NUFC_Richyg01 // Jul 22, 2011 at 10:45 AM

    @9

    Im just putting it out there.

  • 20 NUFC_Richyg01 // Jul 22, 2011 at 10:46 AM

    @18

    Thought we all knew how old Jesus was! lol

  • 21 Stuart // Jul 22, 2011 at 10:47 AM

    Haha fair one Richy. I’ll take that as a no then?

  • 22 NUFC_Richyg01 // Jul 22, 2011 at 10:51 AM

    @21

    Would love it to be true, but can’t see the fat man going for it on cost, that said, would pull in some revenue wouldn’t it!?

  • 23 Stuart // Jul 22, 2011 at 10:52 AM

    It would pull in alot of money yeah, but Man City would need to pay about 80% of his wages for MA to pick up the rest like haha.

    I thought he was going to Corinthians anyway?

  • 24 NUFC_Richyg01 // Jul 22, 2011 at 10:56 AM

    @23

    No, deal fell through due to Brazilian transfer window.

    Also Man City are added loads of clauses like:

    Cannot be resold to any of their close rivals in the next two years.
    Payment must be lump sum.

  • 25 Stuart // Jul 22, 2011 at 10:59 AM

    Ah right. Still can’t see him moving to an english club though, isnt his whole reason for wanting to leave because his wife and kid wont move to england? He’ll end up in Spain or Italy probably.

    If he came to us though he’d pretty much garauntee us a top 8 finish on his own, never mind the rest of the team lol.

  • 26 AMEOBI // Jul 22, 2011 at 11:15 AM
