I hope you know Barton enrique and Nolan had contractual issues.

Shearer i have not heard him say anything.

Keegan – how many clubs has he left in lurch, my belief is that if he had stayed in 08 -09 we would not have been relegated. we lost games against hull west ham blackburn just after he left. he added fuel to fire.

I am beginning to get slightly concerned by the fact were playing arsenal in 2 weeks and we are in desperate need of a left back and a striker!

Definitely sell forster like, he was when i watched the reserves a couple of years ago and thought he must have improved while at norwich and celtic… apparently not!
Krul no1, harper back up, Alnwick will be back up to Krul in a couple of years when harper retires

This was a ‘good’ result. Losing pre.season games ensures the players work harder and dont start the season overconfident. It also lets the board understand the need to strengthen the team. Look at Manure, after their 100 per cent pre.season,Fergie no longer sees the need to buy Scholes’ replacement. Ok so maybe the management are ‘clueless’ but the defenders will turn up at training thinking ‘we let in 3 against Leeds,we’ve gotta work extra hard before Arsenal’ . AP will also be a step closer to knowing his 1st choice GK

Sad Sad period, to be supporting NUFC, i used to think that FFS was a pr!ck, but fekking hell FMA is a proper turd, i think we are in for a hell of a relegation battle this year, 2 or 3 injuries this season and hello fizzy pop

    When will this nightmare end???

    Keep the faith fella’s!

remember there is some real quality at the Toon and I for one cant wait for the season to start.

2 more out and 2 in would see us ok.

We lost to Norwich last pre season, a championship club back then. But we didn’t have a crap season. It’s better to get the poor performances out the way and learn from them in the pre season than in the season.
