Joey Barton cannot tweet about anything to do with Newcastle, including the the players or the management.
Joey Barton – tweets again
But to prove he still has the Twitter account, which could prove dangerous in the future, he tweeted today on what England manager Fabio Capello had said about him yesterday.
This is what Joey tweeted:
“On the plus side at least Capello knows who I am, I was beginning to think i was invisible #lookingatthepositives.
“Am going to take the fact he (Fabio C) used the words me and good player in the same sentence, all I want is the opportunity to prove the rest.
“My goal is to get in that Euro2012 squad and team for the Olympics, all I can do is more of what I did last season, if its enough its enough.
“To even be mentioned in the reckoning, is a testament to how far i’ve come since my troubled yrs, looking forward to pushing for a place.”
Capello had said he had been impressed with Joey’s form for Newcastle last season, but it wasn’t a good thing that he was currently in a furious row with his employers, and suggested Joey could be a dangerous player,
But the tweet is quite respectful, certainly compared to some of his tweets last week, when he raged about Mike Ashley and Derek LLambias.
We suppose that’s a step forward. isn’t it?
