Pardew – Newcastle Fans Will Like What They See

Alan Pardew still needs to resolve the Joey Barton situation,  before the game against Arsenal tomorrow.

Joey Barton – needs to decide and quickly

And it’s basically up to Joey to either commit himself fully to Newcastle, or decide he cannot do that,  and he will be moved out of the club.

But at this point, there’s no reason if Joey commits to the Magpies, that he cannot be Newcastle’s top player next season, and who knows – if he gives up that Twitter account, and displays the discipline he’s shown over the last couple of years,  he could even stay on Tyneside after next summer.

It’s not impossible, but if he stays on Tyneside this season,  there must be no more trouble from Joey, and he has to behave himself and get behind the team.

But after the Barton situation is sorted out, there will be no more players leaving the club, and potentially three and at least two new players, a striker and a left back, to be brought in.

Fabricio Coloccini has again been linked with Spanish club Valencia, but the Newcastle captain is going nowhere,  and top midfielder Cheick Tiote is also going nowhere.

Alan Pardew has been trying his very best to reassure fans, who are still wary that Newcastle may lose at least one more top player before September rolls around, and maybe on August 31st too, as happened with a certain local striker last January.

Pardew said this about the situation at Newcastle:

“We have secured a few of the players on long-term deals and we haven’t lost them all.”   “We still have Coloccini and Tiote and good young players who can impress our fans.”

“Cabaye and Ba look ready to rumble.” “Marveaux is a bit off the pace because of his injury, but we have Obertan now.”   “These players who the fans haven’t seen,  will like what they see.”

We have to hope that Newcastle can put in a good performance tomorrow night, and hopefully can secure all 3 points which would be terrific.

And maybe also have a couple of our new players turn out to be the top performers for the side against the Gunners.

That would raise Geordie spirits everywhere, to be sure, and it doesn’t take much!

Howay The Lads!!

We’ve seen Obertan and Ba in the premiership last season.. bit patronising. Marveaux hasn’t kicked a competitive ball in 14 months.. so what’s new?

Quick question, if Joey does commit, where would you play him? I quite like the idea of fast wingers and Cabaye and Tiote holding the middle.
Has he ever played as a full-back, so we can switch Simpson to the left and Joey on the right?

Arsene Wenger, Arsenal manager: “We are full of confidence, ambition and desire to do well. We are a young team who can only get better.
“(At Newcastle last season) we had an exceptional start in that game and were only clawed back when we played with ten men. I don’t think we got the credit we deserved for that first half performance.

Usually when you give away a 4 goal lead you don’t get credit rightly or wrongly arsene!

I’m really hoping that this season we do play a quick passing game. But I’m just not sure that Arsenal are the best team to start doing that against….. it’s kind of what they’re known for….they’ve had a bit more practice at it than us lot

If you are not happy with Mike Ashley’s dictatorship then please send Mr Anil Ambani An email..

I have been in contact and had good replies over the last year .

Anil is a big Newcastle United Fan and it might just take a few thousand emails from us to get him to think about buying the club from Ashley.

I have told him of the Indian community in Newcastle And we hard working Honest Geordie Public and many other facts about our History And Heritage .

Anil wears the Shirt ! So do His Kid’s ! Black and white Daft !

Please don’t criticise our owner Ashley to him. Just tell him we would love him to take us to the next level, and what ever you think might make him think.

Shot in the dark , but he is a Big Newcastle fan.

Here’s the email address. Ask them to forward it on to Mr Ambani’s (Anil) office and you will receive a reply.

When you post on here Please mention if you have sent him an email,we can then have a head count.

Pardew is obviously trying his best to reassure us fans. I think most of know little about Cabaye and Marvauex, and of course they are unproven in the EPL, so time will tell.

We have a (potentially) good, quick, exciting young team

(potentially) several players that will struggle to make the pace this season.

My view, and I may be wrong, is that we will do OK this season, around mid table. I’m hoping for big things from Cabaye, 10-15 goals from Ba and can’t wait for HBA to return. I’m also looking forward to watching players like Vukcic and Ferguson.

I think our dynamic youth and new signings will shine through but let’s not put too much pressure on these lads, players often need time to adapt to the league and to first team football.

A LB and striker will make most of us a lot happier. Anyone else getting bored of saying that?
