The following policies should be taken into consideration before commenting:
An update on my health situation - we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects - diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.
And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones.
There are no treatments left for me to go on.I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and we will treat the side effects of the treatments I have had.
It's down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will now take its course.
I hope Newcastle can get many wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
Thanks for all your help through the years - it's very much appreciated

Comment #41Right lads- few points from match, what are your feelings?
1) only 46k there, no atmosphere at all.
2) Loudest cheer of the day was Bartons name being announced- showed what the season ticket holders think.
3) Shola continues to be sh1te.
4) Centre halfs were excellent.
5) Tiote and Cabeye cannot play together in a 4-4-2 formation. Cabeye is too defensive, game passed him by.
6) We desperately need Two strikers, none good enough.
7) Without Joey Barton we would have lost today- except for dead balls he was outstanding.

Comment #43it seems some people on here, no matter how well a player plays, will still find a problem with certain players ie. Simpson/Ameobi/Raylor
i cant for the life of me understand the low ratings of 5 for simpson and 2 for ameobi, Jesus what have they got to do to earn your praise?
Simpson had a solid game and put some great tackles in, so did Raylor, who remember is a Right winger playing at left back. and to be fair to ameobi he chased down their defenders plenty of times and had a few decent touches, yes he can be frustrating but giving him a rating of 2?? come on

Comment #44S Taylor MoM for me, Colo was class as well. Barton played well appart from set pieces but for everyone else ‘must do better’ come to mind.

Comment #45Anyone who still can’t see shola’s contributoin to the team after today knows absolutely nothing about football. He was immense up front, holding the ball up and keeping the pressure off the midfield and defence.

Comment #46@Kingkev9: No atmosphere at all? Can you please explain Ed’s next post about Cabaye thinking the atmosphere was amazing. Apart from your point about the two CH;s being excellent the rest of your points are so pathetic that they really make me wonder why you come on here and post. You clearly come on here with an agenda with scant regard for the truth. I mean really, why bother?

Comment #48Felipe- where do I start? Were you at the match today?
The atmosphere was non existent, with the signing section gone it was quiet for the majority of the game.
Hmmm, Shola- in my row, the row infront and behind, not one person thinks he deserves a new contract. Why were people cheering when he was subbed? Yes he battled away but he didn’t play well.
So you think Cabeye was good today and worked well with Tiote in the first half?!
And Felipe, did you hear the cheer for Barton before the game? Or the loudest song of the day before the game: ‘Theres only one Joey Barton….’
Just shows what the real fans think.

Comment #50Cheick tiote 4 out of 10? What are you watching? The 2 boys in centre midfield were relentless and stopped arsenal from getting any fluency. You can’t say they can’t play together when 90 percent of the time your opponents aren’t in the same league as todays. And whoever gave Gutierrez an 8 is on drugs. He wasn’t even slightly interested.

Comment #51@Kingkev9 are you for real? i was sitting 10 seats in from the away fans and to say we were non existant is an out and out lie…granted since the singing section has been seperated alot more younger fans have originated around the level 7 area (myself included im 19) but we never sat down all game and sang throughout drowning out there attempts of chants or should i say the only 1 chant they sang and IMO was a more than good atomasphere from a noticeably younger crowd…

Comment #52Toonie, I sit in the SJHS and yes the small section of fans next to the away fans did try and improve the atmosphere but you could barely hear you’s and I sit in the same stand. Everyone was commenting during and after the game about how quiet it was.
Not trying to offend you but the new 18-21 section up in level 7 is embarrassing, away fans are always loud but the old singing section dealt with that.
