Maiga Apologizes To Fans – Yearns For Newcastle Move

It seems that Modibo Maiga is still hoping (and praying) for a move to Newcastle.

Modibo Maiga –  Newcastle want me – I want them

As we reported earlier today the Souchaux manager Mecha Bazdarevic has left the player out of the squad for the Europa League match at Metalist Kharkiv, tomorrow evening.

And Modibo has come out today to apologize to the Souchaux fans, but says he is not focused enough to play tomorrow, but says Newcastle want him and he wants to go to Newcastle.

Modibo told the French Daily L’Equipe today:

“I am sorry for the fans, my team-mates and the staff, but I am not in the best conditions to play,”

“It is better for the team to get focused well that I don’t play.”

“About Newcastle, it is very clear: they want me and I want to go there.

“They want the transfer to be sorted out quickly, but it is not up to me. The worry is Souchaux.”

Newcastle are said to have offered Maiga a five-year deal and offered Souchaux either  £7M or  £8M, depending on which reports you read, but it’s probably €8M which is about £7M.

We’re still hoping this deal can be completed.

    Underwhelming.

We’ll definitely be knackered when it comes to January too.

I fail to see the talent in this one.
He seems like a good striker, but in the same genre of what we already have.
Dont strike for us mate, i want someone with genuine pace.
If only Ranger could grow up…

We were awful against a poor Arsenal team, so how are we gonna fair against the mackems who wants revenge?
It doesn’t look very good, Ryan Taylor at Lb will be our week link at the weekend and we’ll be punished. We desperately need a LB and a striker, and i just have no faith in that fat bastard to deliver. Well we might get mickey mouse and donald duck in for a combined sum of 6mil like

Not sold on this Maiga lad. Seems intent on rocking the boat to force a move but I don’t think he is the pacy striker we are in need of. Still, if we get him in, and we get Pieters, I would be happy.

Is happiness too much to ask? Some good news please!!!

As Bentoon have noticed it earlier today, there is indeed a chicken head on his shirt…

This the sponsor of Le Mans (The “Loué” compagny. They sell chicken…).

Fact: we will not pay more than 5 mill for anyone. Fact: MA is a fat money hungry cockney cu*t who, might have settled some money issues, but is now sitting on something he couldn’t give a fu*k about and skimming all the cash from the top.
2 weeks from the end of the transfer window and do we have a striker to replace AC, no. Is there the chance that we could buy another top striker NO. Miga is toss and we wont even splash the cash on him.
We have had some success in the transfer window but at no cost to the fat man, I fear the worst now though as we could end up with complete shi*e

If we are going to sign Remy and Situ, isn’t it the best news of today? More backline coverage.

We still need Cissokho, a French Right back and a French goalkeeper.

He would be a good signing and he wants to come to us which is a change, but if you ask me we would have been get shane long at a bargain price of £5m sorted but oh well. get him and pieters on board and we are sorted 😀

Park would get ringing endorsements from almost everyone on here, but the board don’t listen to us, which is silly, because we’re their biggest asset and if they did one gesture for the fans, and that’s buy the ST we want, the roar at St James’ Park would be amplified ten-fold! As it is, we’re all feeling deflated.

and you can be playing in between the goal posts.

Well, stimpy don’t seem fit, he would have to train a week or two with Marveaux. And i worry about his cleverness on the pitch.

Ren, he can be a good player, but what about his nerve’s problem. We already got Barton, this enough, don’t you think so?

    Chu Young Park!!!!!
I’ve been going on about him for days now. Cheap as Chips. Great investment in terms of bringing in revenue from Asia (Park Ji Sung anybody?)

Not only that, he’s fast and tricky as hell.

Out of everyone we have been linked with in the past few weeks im still really keen on Bendtner for £8million. I know thatdoesnt sit well with a lot of people on here

It’s a problem only if he go back to Corea, no? So he can do it after his career. What does he risk exactly?

Think everyone is baffled with that issue, Niafron.

I read, that he must begin it before he turns 31, which would deter many. I’m sure there’s a way around it though? MA slipping some senior government officials 100k a piece?

Which reminds me, Niafron. You were battling with your morals the other day, so what do you think of this (unsure if you’ve seen it already) 😆
