Newcastle Players Nervous About Club’s Future

Jose Enrique has said that he knows the Newcastle players are nervous about what the future holds at the famous north east club.

Now that he’s made his life’s ambition and joined Liverpool football club, it seems as though Jose may be trying to put Newcastle in a bad  light.

Jose has said that the dressing room has fears for the direction of the club.

“I’m worried not for the club, more for the fans because they are amazing.”

“I have a lot of friends in the dressing room and they are a little bit nervous because they don’t know what the club is going to do,”

“It is not because we have left, because at some clubs good players leave,” “But they have not signed another left back.”

‘I think that is why everyone is leaving Newcastle. I think Joey Barton will leave soon and it is really hard for Alan Pardew.”

‘You want to be as high as you can in the table but maybe Newcastle don’t think the same and that is why they sell their best players and that is why everyone moves.”

I should point out that “everyone is leaving Newcastle”  refers to himself, Andy Carroll and Kevin Nolan, all who went for bigger money at other clubs, and that statement by Jose has to be a gross overstatement of the truth.

And if Joey Barton wants to leave Newcastle, then so be it.

This seems a classic case of somebody who has left Newcastle trying to justify why they left, and putting the club in a bad light in the process. It’s not good when you have left a club to criticize it in any way.

That’s because it shows  a complete lack of class, however true the words may be.

We think Jose should keep his comments to his current club Liverpool, and not reflect back on Newcastle, who paid the Spaniard £45K/week for four years and treated him very well while he was on Tyneside.

To be sure, Newcastle are not in a good state at the moment, we cannot deny that, but three good players in before September, and Newcastle could have a stronger squad than last season.

That’s the truth, or in the words of Derek LLambias – fact!

How is Jose saying his friends are nervous a gross overstatement of the truth? I reckon he knows more about the inner workings of our club than we do

No players want to be at a club that doesnt want to progress or is run like a joke….

I used to love the bull i genuinely liked the way he quietly got on with his game, but all this crap all this liverpool dream move shit makes me sick. Admit you went for better money and a chance go you may get in spain squad. No-one will blame him if he did instead he just looks like a proper numpty.

I’m sorry, but even if what Enrique said is true, no one have put a gun toward his head an force him to leave the club.

    Just think to that:
Will you start to support Man City cause they play the CPL and NUFC don’t?

What was his problem? The poor lad was paid only 50k a week?

He don’t really care of NUFC, it was just a step in his carrer. Honnestly, i accept the fact players are like that, but if they can shut up and not considering fans as total donkeys, it’s fine to me.

A player can be a real mercenary and be a good man too. If the guy don’t lie, respect his contract and work as real professionals must do, OK then.

But the way some guys try to justify their egoism upset me.

As long as Ashley see’s a profit in this club we are stuck with him, he doesn’t care about the football side of things he only care’s about the business side of it.

@dmac, I am back, and you got that right.

Ed, would you please list the source first?

If everyone wants to leave, like he said, I guess Barton’s gonna be the first one saying that.

If Jose actually said what’s quoted, that’s fine. Sour grape in his mouth after his destined move only.

Ok, i’m maybe a bit unfair with him…

But i totaly agree with Ed, making such a statement about his former club is a total lack of class.

Ed does your 3 leaving the club include… Keegan, shearer, terry mac, paul barron, calderwood, houghton, owen, duff, bassong, milner, given, nzogbia…. List is endless. Puppet pardew hasnt got a clue whats going on and keeps coming out with the same line ‘ we are hopeful of a signing this week ‘ its getting embarrasing.

OK to be more clear, i see football like that:

This is a bussisness. Everybody defend his interest. Owners use sometimes dishonnest ways and the players too.

And amongst this Shark’s pool, Fans are the innocent civillians who becomes casualitys of war.

So i certainly not defend Ashley. But it’s not him or Enrique.

I side with neither of them.

@SwedishMagpie, we hopefully will sign three new players soon:
Darnel Situ, William Remy and Rob Elliot.

No LB and no striker, btw, unless we can play Situ @ the front because he scored twice and Remy @ LB.

The modern day footballer is nothing short of a whiny bitch (if I am allowed to say that) getting paid fortunes to run around and kick a ball, then to hear them talk about loyalty and commitment makes me sick when they go running to what ever club is willing to pay them the most money.

honestly, I have only been into football since the championship season, and it has been the best and worst thing I have ever experienced.. But without football and NUFC my days would be quite uneventful.

Anyway, I am off now, can’t wait for the window to end so we can see who comes in or walks out of our club so we can have a pop at them and say we don’t/didn’t need them

    @JB

    C’mon!

The players are very good for making all this comedy, Kissing the shirt, telling the fans:”i love you”…

So, what’s this ” the club isn’t ambitious enough” argument!

OK, next time my wife will tell me “sorry darling, i’m a bit tired tonight” i will tell her i want to divorce, and if she ask me why, i would answer:

“Our sexual life lack of ambition!”

Kevymartins…. He didnt get beat all game and rarely gave the ball away and nearly got an assist. Jose is best with the ball at his feet running at people. The longer the club go without replacing him the more we will miss him.
Btw carroll is lost in that team he looks like a 3 mil player not a 35 mil player, constantly giving the ball away, static and too slow to keep up with attacks.
