credit to pardew, his half time team talk seemed to galvanise the team, and all 3 of his substitutions improved the team

Ruddy hell the commentator is posh. Brilliant that we can win in a variety of ways, its great to come from behind….even if the variety of different ways seems to include a ryan taylor freekick every time.

This was my post in my last article in case you missed it:

niafron – Exactly. We have been really woeful in moving around looking for spaces in which to receive the ball. Cabaye seems to be the most impressive in this mostly because he’s the only one really applying that to his game.

Krul was most of the times the reason behind our long balls tonight as he kept sending it long when he could have played the simple pass to any of our defenders many times.

Also haven’t you noticed and something that NUFC have been doing for years and still bothers me is why on earth do we always go for the hardest targets and furthest player on the pitch in throw ins?????

We constantly put ourselves under unnecessary pressure and it really is tiresome to watch.

When our new arrivals get to grips with what is expected of them I bet they will play that fluid and fast flowing ground passing that we all want to see. Until then it really is going to be hard to watch.

We have resembled Stoke City and Sam Arlladyce’s style of play at times especially in this match. That style of football will not be tolerated at the sacred St James’ Park. I don’t think it’s entirely Pardew’s fault though and just the players nervous at times until they gel s a team.

I hope Ben Arfa’s recovery is going well because we need him fit and playing well for us. That kid is something special and I have no doubt he will make us very exciting to watch, I can’t wait.

Simpson – those people on here who say he is a decent right back and improving – jesus christ am glad he not signing his contract extentision , Raylor in for me at RB when LB comes in for defs

Gosling – This lad has potential yes however all the people on here saying he can replace Barton HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA -IDIOTS

BA – Have we signed his retarted brother , if he is our main forward this season HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH

We are getting reported by any club the way we go about our business

We lose any decent talented player we have and fans on here blame people like Keegan, Shephard, Carroll, barton, Nolan, Enrique to name a few and Ashley is doing a great job for the toon .

You know who you are on here Ashley Symphasisers – you are all a word that rhymes with bankers ……

it was a hard fought good game for us. I think once our new players settle they’ll be alot better. ameobi and vuckic were full of energy which is what we needed. get a left back and a striker and either keep joey or a replacement and i will be looking forward to hopefully seeing our team grow. theres potential in there

Sammi and Vuckic were class – and we scraped the win- all that matters, but what does it say about the state of our squad we are relying on them now?

Jonas, tiote and maybe shola aside – no one else worried that’s our best team out there.. ?

elpaso_geordie – I don’t find it funny just depressing. Hopefully we’ll turn a corner and our new signings start getting to know how each other play and their movement and passing will improve.

We desperately need a LB and a ST in NOW!! I would be very happy with those 2 additions for now.

If we sign just one of those or none I will be very worried and pissed off!!

    I know a Pardew,
    who runs the Toon.
    He’ll bring us glory
    really soon,
    but he dont use Carroll,
    and he don’t use Smith.
    He dont use Jose
    or ones like this.
    He uses SaAameeeObiiii

    Obviously to the tune of:

I guess we will have to wait for things to fall into place again. I seriously hope there are no more departures if Barton decides to leave as we can’t afford to lose Jonas, Colo, Krul, Tiote, Cabaye, Saylor, Ben Arfa etc or else were fooked! We need a quality ST and a LB so we can progress and mature as a top team together. I don’t mind if it takes a couple of years as long as we keep the unit of key players at the club. We just need those 2 positions filled and we have the makings of a really exciting young team in our (Ashley’s) hands.

I think attacking the cups this year is a mistake.

If we had played a younger team from the start it would have been a different game. even if we did get knocked out.

Don’t give a flying Feck for the Can’t care cup…

Now we need cover at CB.

We need to stay in this division.

I’m not trying to be negative… we are pushing our luck.

If we get an LB in and Joey goes Raylor RC.

I don’t think Pardew would play a game again without a holding mid. I hate to say this but he should have started with Smith. league 1 side.

Any way on a positive note Pardew has blooded some of our foriegn imports in to the fold of english football.

Still think ‘The brothers’ up front for Fulham

elpaso_geordie @ # 6 You are a right mammary gland, I find it rather amusing the way negative posters like you, solano, mactoon et al, have to resort to name calling.

It’s a clear indication of the lack of grey matter when someone cannot form a sensible argument without having to resort to general vilification of people that do not agree with them.

An example of your lack of grey matter to quote “BA – Have we signed his retarted brother I am sure you mean retarded, I would have accepted a typo had the keys been next to each other but the fact that they are not leads me to believe you are just thick.

The beauty of Ed’s blog is the moment you hit the submit button you are f**ked, if your post has errors like yours then they are there for all the world to see just thick you are.

By the way I am not a sycophant of MA’s but at the same time I am not a blind bigot like yourself.

Any words you are having problems with I am sure you can google them.

That’s nice, Spudnutt Dic…I’ve been nice and quiet – and then you get to call someone a tit and then I get lumped in with a group of fans you don’t like…..I think you’ll find in all this pettinessthat it is people like you that start the name calling because you can’t stand an alternative opinion on things NUFC – retards, morons, neggars and Mackems are all words that you and your ilk have thrown at people who do not like what is going on at St James’s.

Nice one solano exactly the type of thing I am on about, and just because you have been quite for a couple of days does not mean you have changed.

The vast bulk of you posts are negative and huge number of them appear abusive in some form or another.

I think a quick check back on my posts and you find that I never start the name calling I only respond to abuse as in the response to post # 6.

As for this and I quote “ retards, morons, neggars and Mackems are all words that you and your ilk have thrown at people who do not like what is going on at St James’s.

I have called you and others morons as your posts indicate that you are just that, of limited thinking and equally limited vocabulary. As for the other three terms of disparagement you will never find one of those in my posts so not only are you a moron you also appear to be a liar, or am I mistaken?
