Newcastle United Into Lingerie Big Time

Well would you believe it, Newcastle United have become the latest football club to sign a deal with a leading underwear retailer.

Lingerie now available in black and white stripes!

News today that Newcastle have just signed a deal with Premier Lingerie,  to sell black and white underwear with the club’s logo on them – and they will be sold at the club’s shops.

What is the world coming too?

The range of underwear includes bras, briefs, French knickers, stockings, suspender belts and camisoles and they come in a variety of sizes, so don’t worry lads, you’ll be able to get a pair that fits you.

😀

Stuart Middlemiss is the Newcastle United’s head of retail, and he had this to say today:

“This is something which a lot of other clubs have been exploring and we are keen to see how Newcastle fans take to the club-branded lingerie.”

It turns out that  Wolves were the first club to sign up for the lingerie last December, and Newcastle are the second Premier League club to sign up.

This is what Paul Robinson, director of Premier Lingerie, said today:

“We’re delighted to be working with Newcastle United – it’s such a big club and has a massive fan base, not only in the north east but across the country and further afield.”

“We’ve had a great reaction at Wolves so I’m confident that they’ll also be a hit with Newcastle fans.”

“Women now make up about 20 per cent of football supporters but only three to five per cent of club merchandise is aimed at them.”

“A lot of clubs simply stock pink t-shirts with the club’s logo on them – that’s not good enough.”  “Not enough clubs are doing anything sassy for their female fans, so that’s where we’re helping.”

There’s just got to be a few good jokes about this (let’s see them in the comments), but it’s good that it seems to be directed more towards the female fans,  who appear to be supporting the clubs more than in the past.

That cannot be bad.

Of course the colors black and white are also the two most popular colors for underwear, so it stands to reason that Newcastle United would go into lingerie big time.

I just made that up, but it even sounds logical.

But I can just see Newcastle fans taking home some lingerie for their wives and girlfriends after Newcastle have just won 5-0 at St. James’ Park.

is this underwear or in fact a look at next season kit? Personnally i think that is the real reason barton, enrique, carroll, and nolan left. cos they are all abit coy about playign it. Of course the french dont have such prudishess which is why we specifically targeted french players. The players that turned us down were tempted by the offers on the table from big spending mike – but alas they were worried how their bums would look. FACT!!!!!

May be after NUFC LOSE, they may have some angry or hate sex. Just to get over the defeat

My girlfriend and I were actually pretty disappointed in the selections. Seemed like they just slapped NUFC logos on underwear at times. Could of been much better. I got the best lady. Not even a huge football fan *I know* but is writing NUFC with some ideas and was the only gal at the Kansas City game with her body painted and a black and white bikini top on. Still gonna enjoy shopping on the lingerie site for my birthday come December. 🙂
