Cheick Tiote Ready To Get Job Done For Newcastle At QPR

25 year-old Cheick Tiote is a big player for Newcastle United.

Cheick Tiote after scoring a goal that Newcastle fans will never forget!

But Cheick has not been at his best so far this season, but that may be because he had to train all on his lonesome in Ghana during the summer.

That’s when he and long serving Newcastle physiotherapist Derek Wright waited in Accra, to get the Ivorian’s  visa renewed, but we hope the former FC Twente player  will play his way back to top form, and soon too.

Certainly he’s playing with a top new midfield  partner in French International Yohan Cabaye, who can play the attacking or defending roles  in central midfield with equal aplomb. What a great buy Yohan looks to be for Newcastle for just £4.5M!

Joey Barton has joined QPR and will make his debut for his new club tonight, but he will also be going through some  regret that he’s finally left a club like Newcastle United, one of the best supported clubs in the world, even if we’re not one of the most successful.

It seems that Cheick really liked Joey while he as at Newcastle, but it’s  time to forget friendships in order to get the job done for Newcastle tonight:

“Joey has gone now and that’s history for us.” “We need to focus on the next game.”  “It’s football – everything happens in football like that but we must move on as a team at Newcastle.”

“I’m sad Joey has gone, but that’s football, we need only to think about the team and winning this match.”  “We are playing against Joey, and I will be happy to see him, but we must do our jobs first.”

“He’s a good man and a good friend but I don’t have a problem with him.”  “That must be my approach.” “It’s important to win this game.”

“We’ve started well, and we need to stay focused and continue that.” “We must do everything to win this game.”

We are hoping (and praying) that Newcastle can extend their great start to the Premier League season, and a win will take the lads into 4th position in the Premier League.

We’d also like to see Cheick get back to last season’s form, and the team that Alan Pardew fields tonight will be a strong one, and can get the job done at Loftus Road.

We hope so in any case, and if the lads win, we’ll simply be over the moon.

Comments welcome.

Lets hope Tiote’s not too friendly with Barton, and rams him a couple of times.
Always wondered who was more hardheaded between the two. An interesting clash to say the least 😉

I predict tiote’s second yellow card this season. he’s over due. Still there’s no time for friendship in football.

well im afraid but tiote has went down in my book cause when he gets the ball he stands there like a tit and waits to be tackled then blames it on the lads. must of had a lucky season last season
