The goal-scorer and hero Demba Ba is in the middle there
BBC interview with Demba Ba after the game today
This player is so modest it’s ridiculous, but he scored three great goals today, and surely there are more to come, now that he’s finally up to speed.

Comment #161Lawro says easy win because blackburn were poor. Doesn’t credit us for stopping them playing or even mention us a team at all. I really hate the pundits on motd!

Comment #162We made them look terrible, ran rings around them.
Difference with this team compared with last years? We now have 11 mobile players on the field, moving around at all times, creating space for each other.

Comment #165Wolves look like a really sluggish side, particularly at the back. There for the taking (annihilating 😛 ).

Comment #167Cant believe how well we’re doing, to be honest ive been a ‘doom mongerer’ for ages when it comes to Newcastle, I’m happy to be proved wrong but cant help sometimes thinking negative thoughts (like we’ll sell Cabaye in Jan if he keeps playing this good haha) the owner/chairman are wnker’s and its not gonna be all plain sailing but when is it ever but we’ve all got a team to be proud of in my humble opinion.

Comment #169DanishMAg, What are you on ? We are 4th for one week and Pardew is being compared to SBR.. who took us to 3rd, 4th, 5th consecutive finishes… pass the doobie man…
I wrote a wee ditty on the piano the other day, and I’m now ‘on the road’ to being better than Mozart..

Comment #170Danishmag – “Sir Bobby was a great person! And as you say yourself.. hence the “Sir”…
We totally agree on that.
But as our manager he did not win us a trophy…
I got a feeling that Pardew is aiming for that this season allready”…
Is this kid for real?? Pardew is being praised above SBR for ‘aiming’ for a trophy? I’m buzzing at being 4th and watching this team the past few games like everyone – but this is a wind up right?

Comment #172I am so excited with the way we are playing right now, I cant wait for next Saturday… Its been ages and ages since we last played with the mentality we are playing with lately… Keeping the ball on the ground .. Mobile players all over the park..
Nolan, Barton, Carroll going might just turn out to be a blessing in disguise…
I would not like to be Pardew now.. I would have headaches all day long about who to play in midfield…Ben Arfa, Marveux, Abeid, Gosling waiting in the wings…
I pray that the entertainers are truly back…

Comment #175Am I the only one that thinks Steve kean is full of cr@p?
Since the Arsenal game its been, “We have been scoring lots of goals “. It was 4-3 to Blackburn with 2 own goals from Arsenal. They should have lost that game.
Now he thinks Blackburn did enough? They were sh!te. If you asked a neutral which team they thought just got promoted between Blackburn and QPR, they would say Blackburn.
The cr@p that comes out Steve Kean’s mouth is utter BS. He goes on to complain about the 3rd goal and the Sending off… if anything more of their players should have been carded… the commentator’s were having a field day on the air, nearly everytime Blackburn fouled they protested their innocence whilst in the commentators box they are explaining how it was a foul and how they have no case to argue that it wasn’t a foul. If Blackburn want to survive they gotta sack this muppet.

Comment #177I hate BBC lol. MoTD said we only won because BBurn were poor, Garth crooks REFUSED to praise us and said that we’ve had an easy start hence why we remain unbeaten, although he did say Colocinni has been immense for the past 18 months.

Comment #182Catching up on the posts this morning I can’t help but laugh; Pardew being compared to SBR, top 6 finish, both cups within our reach, fighting in the champions league in 2 seasons etc….I often wondered why fans of other clubs call us deluded. Let’s get back down to planet Earth people, only 6 games into the season and while it’s a good start; outside of a very troubled Arsenal we’ve not played any big hitters. Our 1st team squad is very light, particularly at the back and things could go very wrong, very quickly if we pick up a few injuries. Let’s see where we are after a dozen games and then we’ll have a better idea of what the season holds, the last 2 games against Villa and Blackburn have been good solid performances and confidence and optimism is building after the first 4 games in which we were poor. We’re still a ‘mid-table team’ at the moment who aspire to be top 10, as players hit fitness and form and with a few additions in January I think we can fulfil that aspiration….after that who knows what might happen over the next few seasons, but one or two on here are getting seriously carried away. Things are going well just now so let’s hope that continues at Wolves

Comment #183The Blackburn fans were singing to Steve Kean ‘you’re getting sacked in the morning’, so I don’t know how he has the nerve to say they deserved something. Idiot.

Comment #186I really would not like Pardews job of picking that team, not so much next week as I don’t think HBA or marveaux will start, but against spurs.
Tiote, Cabaye, Marveaux, HBA, Obertan, Ba, Best.
One of them has to be left out. All on absolute top form and possess the ability win the game for us.
Jonas is left out on purpose, because there is not one human being in this world go frustrates me more.

Comment #187I dont think any of us are deluded and thinking that we are going to set the EPL alight this season… But it is just pleasing the see the way we are approaching play and moving the ball around… The unbeaten run will end soon – we know that…But until then we can enjoy some good play by us…
