As Expected Newcastle Unchanged At Molineaux

As expected,  Newcastle manager Alan Pardew will field an unchanged side at Wolves today, and it’s the same side that easily beat Blackburn 3-1 at home last Saturday.

This will be the 7th league game in a row this season that Alan  Pardew has chosen an unchanged defense, winch currently has the best record in the football league of all 92 clubs.

That means Best and Ba will again have an opportunity to score those goals for Newcastle and Tiote and Cabaye remain as top performers in Newcastle’s central midfield.

The subs bench is extremely strong – Rob Elliot, Davide Santon, Danny Guthrie, Sylvain Marveaux, Sammy Ameobi, Hatem Ben Arfa, Peter Lovenkrands

For Wolves, Steven Fletcher is back in the starting line-up with Dave Edwards dropping to the bench.

Teams:

Wolves (4-4-2): Hennessey, Stearman, Berra, Johnson, Ward, Jarvis, Henry, O’Hara, Hunt, Fletcher, Doyle.
Subs: De Vries, Doherty, Zubar, Guedioura, Hammill, Edwards, Vokes.

Newcastle United (4-4-2): Krul; Simpson, Taylor (S), Coloccini (c),  Taylor (R);  Obertan, Cabaye, Tiote,  Gutierrez;  Best, Ba
Subs: Elliot, Santon,  Guthrie,  Marveaux, Ameobi (Sa),  Ben Arfa,  Lovenkrands

Wonder why Harps hasn’t took his spot on the bench yet. Still working on match fitness you reckon?

    Anybody here play FIFA 12?

Hell our players are a JOKE…I edited like 70% of them as in FIFA 12 you can edit thank god but its kinda lame you can change the entire league I am stumped how low our players are rated, not to be biased or anything bud Abeid rating of 51? SMITH has more ….so thats impossible….

Game is harder to play that’s for sure but I scored some crackers on virtual pro better shot dynamics that’s for sure more accurate…

We need to be a draw or win to stay in fourth and I feel we can win this one.

We are a much better footballing side than wolves and if we play to our strengths and not get sucked into a kicking match with them we will win.

Marv should start. Strange that he doesn’t get that opportunity still. IF he is planing to bring him into to game, do it max after 60 mins, not for the last 10 mins or so, that is just a waist of this players talent.

Are Wolves a more technical or more physical team?
    Anyone?

to be fair i wouldnt start marv or arfa or santon in this game vs wolves. It will be very physical and Jonas in all fairness gets up from every knock and seems impossible to injure!

Well, Pardew doesn’t want to change a team who win. Better for men managment.
    He need an occasion.

If the game is a tough one, he could throw in the battle both Marv and Beni quickly.

@gorgonzola: Our team rankings are pretty accurate tbh although I agree with Smith being rated as highly as he is. Younger players who aren’t playing at least a rotation slot in the reserve team is like that because there’s not much to go on and as a result their XP gauge is weighted heavily in their favour. A few good performances in the first team and they can be upped a fair few levels.

Career Mode as a player is really annoying too. Finished my first season last night and realised that the board had sold Colo, Jonas, Tioté, Ben Arfa, Best and Raylor. We brought in Palacios and Blake… whoever he is. Blake got the number 9 too and can’t get a game ahead of Shola, Ba and me. This season we’ve bought Schwarzer for £0 and that was enough to unsettle Fulham lol.

@Ameobi: I have an Xbox but I don’t have FIFA for it. Just downloaded it for the PC until I can afford it. And nah, I don’t bother with Ultimate Team. I’m quite happy to play along as the Toon.

Thanks. So there is the reason maybe why Marv is on the bench and also Arfa and Santon (Fear for injury for both?)
