Liverpool Reported To Want Coloccini

What is it about Newcastle players that attracts Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish?

Fabricio Coloccini – the Newcastle captain

Kenny paid out £35M for Andy Carroll last January and the Gateshead lad is now warming the bench at Anfield, with Liverpool hardly playing their game to the 22 year-old’s strengths in the air.

And Kenny came after Jose Enrique in the summer,  and signed him for around £6M, and would you believe it last week, there was news  he wanted Newcastle left-back Ryan Taylor, and was willing to pay up to £10M for him.

That news is hard to believe, and it could all be paper talk, but there’s news today that Dalglish wants to shore up his defense, which is an obvious weakness with the Liverpool team and has been for almost two years.

Fabricio Coloccini is in talks to extend his contract at Newcastle, and the Newcastle manager Alan Pardew said last week he is fairly positive Fab will sign a new deal,  as long as one of the top clubs don’t come after him.

The news reports today suggest Dalglish now wants Coloccini, and will monitor his contract situation,  and if there is a breakdown in the talks,  then Kenny may make a move for the Argentine International.

We have to hope for two things – that this report is just pure paper talk, and then that Colo signs his new deal at Newcastle  within a week or two, and if he does that,  it will be great news for Magpies  fans.

Newcastle are currently 4 points above Liverpool,  after nine games played in the Premier League.

I’m sure Fab often ponders what it might be like to play for a “top club” that draws with Norwich City. One more thing: Despite what the fans over there may sing, Andy Carroll walks alone.

Can we please inquire about Suarez or Charlie Adam just to play the “we’re a big club too” game? What a crock of garbage these blessed teams are to think the rest of the premier league is a development league.

No thanks. We plan to kick you a$$, not patronize it.

First of all F### Liverpool, they want everybody.

Second, Man C are having a very lucky day, winning by so much, a red card for Man U, and now Chelsea with their horrible game. On the other hand, Chelsea are having a horrible day, maybe worse then of Man U.

Ok, if 2 of you didn’t understand what I wrote then I wrote it wrong I guess.

Man C are a very strong side, but after that 3-0, Man U started attacking, and made 3-1, from there, all the other 3 goals where because Man U thought it is 3-1 in their favor (like it is most of the time) and left their back totally open, those 3 goals were “scored” by Man U. That is where Man C’s “luck” is, that Man U just weren’t themselves today, lost their head.

And with Chelsea, well, it is a lucky day when you win 6-1 against one rival and the other one is losing + with 2 red cards.

And again, not saying they are lucky to win, they are a good side, but this day looks like everything went their way. Hope you don’t believe that Man C worth 6-1 against Man U with 11 players.

What when they criticise us and call us lucky but call teams like Norwich and the like good fighting teams. Oh how I loathe that program now… football first is the one for me nowadays

But I think I know what SKY news meant when they said “NUFC have a chance to go 3rd Equal to Chelsea.” Newcastle 1-0. QPR 5-0. 😉
