Alan Pardew On His First Year At Newcastle – Video

Here is the BBC video  of Alan Pardew talking about his first year at Newcastle United, in which he says it has flashed by.

Alan talks about how he will keep his attacking ways and try to win every game at Newcastle.

As we said yesterday, we think it’s hard for any manager to have done any better than what Alan has achieved in his first twelve months, considering everything that happened and the fact he lost four of his best four players in his first nine months at the club.

Alan is a testament to those who continue to think positively,  because if you do things may just turn out good.

Try it –  it really seems to work.

We were dead against Alan coming last December, but he has proved us completely wrong, but long time readers of this blog will not find that particularly surprising. 😀

Good on Alan!

Here is the video which every Newcastle fan should see.

    norwich have a few good players…holt..pilkinton..morrison…but the team that worries me is swansea they like to keep the ball and they could well play us off the pitch but i think with are injuries and with this team we can still win the next 4

    Tiote not in? Guthrie out? What is this?

    1. Yeah Pardew SANTON is an option …Shearer is an option too mate…if he doesnt play next game we deserve to get relageted sorry I dunno why we bothered with this lad…

    2. Looks like Jan will be spend on CB’s and CM rather than the ST role …and to be honest RATHER that… we are now paper thin its scary.

    3. I reckon this could be the last we have seen of Tiote in our B&W shirt…. I hope I am wrong…I really do.

    davy dude I am sick and tired of being told stories if you get my drift….

    I reckon JAN will be a VERY IMPORTANT time for this club we dont get some good business done we could be in trouble…. Also fortune favors the brave we should play a more attacking style of football…. and STOP THE LONG BALLS I h8 that style of play reminds me of the torrid 90s Premiere league style everybody adopted and as a matter of fact we where one of the few clubs who did nt employ that tactic and we played like hell…

    Cmon man, this conspirancy crap is getting a bit old.
    Guthrie and Tiote are injured, if u’re gonna keep speculating like that every time someone is injured, it’s gonna be an awful season for you. When will you get to enjoy something?

    Saylor and Collo injured btw, they’re probs going away in January too… Cmon man.

    @kevy
    People THINK this is what happened to Andy Carroll. We know that Liverpool started their bidding at around £20 million in january, we said no all the way up to £35 mill, this is confirmed by Pardew, and Llambias if the “drunken storytelling” stuff from the papers a few weeks ago is true.

    Now people THINK this is what’ll happen with Tiote. Nolan, Barton and Enrique were’nt shifted in January, they went in the summer, despite us all knowing there were contract issues, plenty of room for them to change clubs in January too, but we held on to them.

    There were also speculation when Tiote was in Ghana sorting his Visa, but nothing happened. Pardew has also recently said it’ll take a HELL of a lot of money to shift any key players, cause we’re in that position now.

    £35 mill for a DM, can u see that? I doubt it, highly, the lad has 5 years left on his contract, he’d be the most expensive DM in the history of football if he left, i can guarantee u that.

    when will ppl learn that carroll was the exception when it comes to players leaving we got 35mill for player they valued at 1mill just year earlier why wouldnt they sell, i kno for fact nolan n barton were told to find new clubs, jose they wanted to keep but he wouldnt sign so they had to sell him, am not saying players wont be sold but its gonna take carroll style cash to get them
    and i keep saying this WEVE ALWAYS BEEN A SELLING CLUB

    @davy
    Yup, and we’ll continue selling big until we can establish ourselfes in the top, we don’t play in the PL, we’d need either a sovereign state to buy us or constant CL football year after year.
    Only way to survive is to sell in this league, we’re far from the only ones.
    The important thing is to do what we do now, buy smart.

    @Davybtoon the only thing that is telling me that we wont sell him is that we scouted him for 5 years along with cabaye so that would be a waste of 5 years

    but on the other hand 25mil surely MA could’nt turn that down..People forget we only paid 3.5mil for him so that would be 21.5mil profit
