An update on my health situation - we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects - diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.
And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones.
There are no treatments left for me to go on.I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and we will treat the side effects of the treatments I have had.
It's down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will now take its course.
I hope Newcastle can get many wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
Thanks for all your help through the years - it's very much appreciated

Comment #2Obertan should not be playing in the Premiership. Cheap investments can go well or badly, and this one has definitely backfired. Please be humble enough to realise this Pardew, and leave him out the starting 11 from now on otherwise, were in trouble.
Santon and Gutierrez could be the left side of most champions league teams.
Simpson and Obertan could be the right side of most championship teams.

I honestly reckon that Ober needs to be sent out on loan to the leccy league. He’s still young, still has time to learn and most importantly needs to build that confidence.

Comment #9Santon or Ba – The only two players on the pitch that had a the ball and looked to do something positive with it.
The worst thing about tonight = Pardew’s tactics.

Comment #13I like alot of what Guti does but there is an awful lot he doesnt/cant. He is terrible at crossing, his shooting from distance is poor but he works his arse off every game. Thats why i like him.

Can’t shoot, can’t cross, can’t pass.
Runs a lot, defends well, gets some good free-kicks if the ref favours him.

Comment #19Onuoha at RB would bring pace, power agression and athleticism, much like Micah Richards, he’s available, get him, early!
When Guthrie is fit and with the addition above, this team would consolidate 7th (we have to accept that’s the best we can do this season):
_______________Krul_______________
Onuoha___-Willo_____Colo____Santon
______________Tiote
________Cabaye____Guthrie
______________HBA
__________Ba______Best
We have to have a variety of tactics, because we’re beginning to look one-dimensional and predictable. Wasteful wingers are not the way forward, that is, when they can actually get into positions to waste it.
Maddening and saddening, this current era.

Comment #23In all seriousness, the only time I saw (noticed?) that Ben Arfa was on the ball was when he was running around the right flank of our box. Did he do anything else other than lose the ball?
Not being harsh on the lad but he really didn’t look up to this game.

Comment #24Total and utter CRAP! But i bet there is 50,000 plus at the next few games! ???????????????????????? The whole lot were shite so I can’t vote for anyone! Welcome to mediocrity and accept it cos it isn’t going to change. From a business point of view it doesn’t have to and thats how Mike Ashley looks at it!

He really looks like another Jonas but everyone should wait a season to judge him.
I’ll defend the lad until he has 50 starts in a B&W shirt.

Was it a game from last year ye were watching?
Our defence isnt that bad but our RW is a joke….
Don’t wanna get on his back but he looks like he has his mind somewhere else.Did nothing today.
Leaves Simmo totally open.
On his last displays Tiote will not be missed.
He slows down our attacks.
Always wants to go backwards before forwards and give sthe opposition time to get goal side.

Seriously?obertan needs time?
Surely they work on that if you play in the PL that you get the ball as a winger and go down the line and cross the ball, pretty simple to understand especially when gifted with speed and ball control.

Every player needs to be given a season to fit in and grow in confidence.
Colo was a joke in our relegation season.
Now he’s so composed.
Go Obertan. I hope he makes it. If he can add crosses to his speed he’ll be a star.
