Red Devils Will Be Tough But Newcastle Must Go For The Win

With only 5 points gained from the last eight games played, Newcastle fans will be hoping the lads can get something out of the game tomorrow night against Manchester United.

Yohan Cabaye – possibility to win against Manchester United

The Red Devils are coming off their shock 3-2 home defeat to Blackburn who got back to their losing ways against Stoke City by a score of 2-1 yesterday at Ewood Park,  and are again second bottom of the table and 3 points from safety.

Top player Yohan Cabaye has talked to the local press about the game tomorrow night, and this is what the French International had to say:

“We have to use our disappointment from Liverpool now when Manchester come to us.”

“We’ll be at home, and we have to play with our hearts, and for the fans, to win the game.”

“I think we have the possibility to win the game, and we have to be focused.”

And Cabaye talked about the disappointment of the Liverpool defeat last Friday night.

We didn’t really expect to get points at Liverpool,  but the Reds’ form had not been too good at Anfield over the previous six games, so we thought there was a chance we could have got at least a point from the game.

And things were going okay through the first 20 minutes of the second half with the score tied at 1-1,  but then Liverpool got those all important goals from Bellamy and Gerrard to capture all 3 points on the night.

Cabaye continued:

“We’re very disappointed with it.”  “I think we started the game at Liverpool well, and led 1-0.”

“It was good for us. We kept the ball well in the second half, and the crowd was frustrated with Liverpool’s players.

“I don’t know what happened with the second and third goals. It was hard for us.

“Unfortunately, we couldn’t get the result.”

It was still anybody’s game last Friday until Craig Bellamy scored his second goal after 66 minutes and the arrival after 60 minutes of a certain Steven Gerrard didn’t help the Newcastle task either.

Those were another two poor goals for Newcastle to concede in the second half, and they both out of nothing, so we have to hope that Alan Pardew and the coaches are drilling the defense,  so we put up a better show tomorrow  night against Manchester United.

We’ll still have Tiote and Demba Ba in the side, before they soon go off to the African Cup of Nations on Sunday, so we have to go all out for the win.

And with the two Manchester  sides, Chelsea and Arsenal all having lost in the last four days, here has to be a decent chance we can get something out of the game.

Howay The Lads!!

Alan pardew’s not daring enough to change the formation so drastically just like that. It’s gonna take all the wingers unavailable then he might change it. Or maybe even play players out of position in the wing role.

I think that saylor used to keep simpson marshalled, Willo needs to get that sorted cos he was all over the shop at liverpool. Didn’t HBA play ok left wing in place of Jonas when he first came? Maybe that & Jonas right and Besty could go back in behind Ba? Would need Santon at LB though.

You posted this before – I think we get it now, we’re having a tough run. Plus it looks like another of our goalscoring assets is out of this game: DeGea looks like he’s being dropped so that cuts down our chances!

jail for ash @4 “when is lamparse back from hols” probably 1st feb. probably the most sensible time to go on jollies, (the busiest and most important monrh of the year) still, he probably watched the liverpool game and thought we done ok and wheres the panic, at least we scored kept the score down to 3 when in reality if suarez had played it could have been 6 or 7 , but 1 shot on target and not one corner in 90 mins, good enough that. its a pity pards cant play 2 keepers on wed, hes going to need them

I hope tomorrow Newcastle can play all out so we can beat Manchester and learn from Blackburn how the can manage to get draw with Liverpool and beat Manchester United in last game. So if we see the league table Blackburn Rover in 19th place compare than Newcastle in 7th place so I really hope that Newcastle can beat Manchester tomorrow. So the best 11 eleven to play with Manchester tomorrow.

    Simpson Colo Willo Santon
    Ben Arfa Cabaye Tiote Jonas
    Ba Best

Hope can beat Manchester so all Manchester fan in my country will be silent for a week.

This is just my 2 cent opinion so good luck to Newcastle player and hope Newcastle fan can full every seat the St James Park stadium even now the changing the name to Sport Direct Arena.

Me?…Just watching the match in television…
