After the Liverpool game I asked Ed to put an option for None of the above, after tonights performance and attitude it should have an All of The Above option

Went with Tioté, he absolutely bossed the midfield today.

Pardew out crew feel like helmets?

Spot on from the Toon. Ba had no right to score from that chance, Cabayes free kick was fantastic and Phil Jones needs to know there is easier ways to hand in a transfer request

Raylor looked tidy on the RW and Simmo again clearing off the line against Man Utd bet he is buzzing

When for Tiote as he was back to his best tonight, a midfield terrier who never allowed Man U to settle, though there were 10 other players who are also deserving

Ba was everywhere, great interceptions, stunning goal, [great flick on from Shola], Shame he does not want the No 9 shirt!

@london: keep control of the midfield – we didn’t need a flair player at that stage of the game, just needed to see the game out mate.

Because we were 2 goals ahead and were parking the bus hence defence not attack

Why are people asking about perch coming on and not Hba. Do you actually know anything about football is the question you need to be asking yourself.

@wwjbd 7 couldnt agree more i thought Raylor did really well, said beforehand i thought we would get thumped and fair play to the lads. Im very proud of this team in general and defend all the players after every game and its times like this that are the reason i do so.

Ba is my man of the match but really almost everyone did very well imo we ran the game for large sections and Man Utd had decisions go their way

Howard was, again, poor I think

Danny you need a certain pair of glasses for your LIES…

    “gorgonzola // Jan 4, 2012 at 10:09 PM

Thump and others dont be pathetic children how can he eat humble pie if he did not play jesus H christ best is for us to sell him and plaz shola for the remainder of the PR. would that make you happy you pathetic children.

    1. The team played like NUFC of the old the longs balls where played first half but have subsided I hope Pardew sees that its best to keep it to ground.

    2. Players where freaking immense, appart from Strolla

3, Amazing watching confidence breed confidence on the pitch, Santon, Taylor, Tiote, Ba, Cabaye much easier on the ball.

    4. You say HBA eat humble pie I say Obertan good riddance, no hesitation on the ball much more organised….think about that….

    5. Happy New Year to all the NUFC fans I definitely DID NOT THINK we had what it takes to take on MANURE, but as is so often with us we buckle with the small fry and play up to scratch with the big boys….

    HWTL…”

END Quote ALL I did is pretty much praised the team so STFU

I’m voting Ba, his interview on Skysports has swayed it. Fabulous ST and a modest, great fella.

I gave my motm to Cabaye as i thought he was excellent throughout the time he was on the pitch and his goal was unreal. I think he is a classy little player and one hell of a coup that we signed him.

Could easily have given my motm to any of the players on the pitch today. Proud of them all.
