Ravel Morrison Could Prefer Newcastle To Real Madrid

News in the Sunday Sun today that Real Madrid have made an inquiry about Manchester United’s  18 year-old   striker/midfielder Ravel Morrison.

Ravel Morrison – Real Madrid now interested

Newcastle have put in a bid for the youngster that has been turned down by the Manchester club, but  now there’s news that the Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid may be interested in taking the lad to Spain.

Real Madrid have been in contact with Morrison’s advisers, and they want to know a couple of things – how much would he cost and  would he be interested in moving to Spain.

Newcastle seem to be in the driver’s seat for the youngster,  but other top clubs like Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham have also expressed an interest in the youngster,  who has had discipline problems at the Red Devils.

Newcastle have had one bid said to be around £500K turned down, although the news that the Tyneside club had gone in with an improved £1M bid was apparently not true, although they may still choose to raise their bid.

It seems like his advisers would prefer that he sign on at Newcastle, as a source had this to say about Ravels’ situation:

“There is interest from Real, but Ravel hopes a deal can be done to Newcastle. They are a very big club and it would give him the chance to train with a Premier League first team every day, and possibly get first-team football.”

It’s nice that Newcastle are being referred to as a big club again, at least by Morrison’s advisers.

And it could be that Newcastle are getting a good name because of the way they handle their youngsters, and that they actually give them a chance  in the first team.

Newcastle fans seem to be split on the deal to bring the wayward Morrison to Tyneside, and we’ll have a vote on whether we should sign the 18 year-old youngster.

Here it is – let us know what you think.

Should Newcastle Sign 18 Year-Old Ravel Morrison?

Definitely. He’s hardly 10M like Zaha. I can’t see any risk at all. We’d be able to sell him for 1M if he’s pap too. Win win.

But if he joins I’ll love him for his minor discretions!

    Until he leaves us.

    So fickle!

£1m will get him. Tribunal will only award around 300 – 400k for an academy product. Well worth a punt, if it doesn’t work, another club will think its worth a go at similar money. And potentially he could be a superstar.

sign him, a young CB, Hoilett and a forward from the lowe leagues (Rhodes, Maynard etc) and the total outlay is not massive. Would make us really strong going forward. Come on Mike, make it happen. Europe can happen this season!!!

sign the lad. give him a sensible contract which says we can sack him if he plays funny buggers. see how he does. maybe a move will make him grow up. if hes still stupid sack him or shift him out. we should get our money back if we get him for under a million

WOW. Clearly not true like but EDEN HAZARD supposedly at the training ground.

He’s like a 20M player. On par with Eriksen, Gotze and Neymar.

The top 2 hot prospects in Europe atm are

    Isco from Malaga
Mateo Kovacic from Dinamo Zagreb(3 times better than Modric while at the same age)

These are the players we should be looking for,not Morrison.

If we can get him lets do it, he has an attitude big deal he is a flair player the best one’s always have an attitude.

Unlike Oba Fergie doesn’t want Ravel too go but he won’t sign the contract. Most Man Utd fans seem too think he’s the best player too have come from the youth squad for years and we all know how good their youth squad is.

He’s had problems in Manchester but get him here a fresh start will do him good. Too many people are quick too judge he’s been in trouble with the police he must be burnt its pathetic.

He is young we all make mistakes and we’d all be Fu##ed if we weren’t given another chance get off your high horses.

I do remember Cabaye saying: “Some of my friends from Lille keep asking me to speak to the manager for them.”

Then Hazard tweeted when Cabaye scored that glorious free-kick: “Yohan Cabaye I love you.”

    😆
