An update on my health situation - we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects - diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.
And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones.
There are no treatments left for me to go on.I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and we will treat the side effects of the treatments I have had.
It's down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will now take its course.
I hope Newcastle can get many wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
Thanks for all your help through the years - it's very much appreciated

Comment #15We scored two goals lads. This more than our average this season.
So for me the problem today was at the other side of the pitch. We conceded FIVE goals…

Comment #16As much as we hate shola. Pardew has to take the blame for continuing with
him upfront though he was poor. Pardew is too slow to make changes. He
continued with the high line even though we already had warning when santon
should have been sent off.
Pardew was stubborn. For Pardew to be a better manager to lead us into
Europe, he needs to learn how to make changes and have more courage. He
only has 1 game plan per game. If it doesn’t work were screwed.

Comment #18I know we are all disappointed. And Pards didnt react fast enough. But the people on here suddenly baying for his blood are ridiculous. He has proven a good manager if a little lacking in flexibility.
You people are fickle and should go support a team like Man U if you cant take the losses with the wins.
I thought we were toon fans?

Comment #24Hopefully Pardew will now realise that his faith in Shola’s ability to lead the line is misplaced – not to say Shols isn’t a decent player but, and we all know this, he’s not good enough for certain tasks. Having said all this waffle, he’s probably better than Loverboy! Maybe an Obertan/Best combination is what we need up top?

Comment #25It makes me laugh when people slag Strola off, it’s not as if his performances have dropped off is it, he’s been average at best his entire career.

Comment #26Compare Shola Ameobi with Heskey, Crouch and Zamora
Heseky – FATTER than Shola Ameobi but at least he CAN hold the ball. got lots of England Caps behind his belt. Even now he is still better than Ameobi (despite his age)
Crouch – SKINNER than Shola Ameobi but he wont more balls against BIGGER CB than SHola AMeobi. Reason he is still an International player
Zamora – 10 times better than Ameobi.

No one is defending Ameobi. But if any of you genuinely believe that he was solely responsible for the loss today, then I really have to wonder if you actually follow football?

Comment #32shola should never play again two games in a row hes been complete sh1te best doesnt get into the game playing on the left he needs to be in the middle dragging centre halfs all over the shop all shola can drag is his feet complete waste of space there must be a young lad we can play upfront from the ranks who will play hie heart out for 90 mins

Comment #33And Ameobi is weak. He has the mentality of a middle sibling. And im not excusing him at all but just offering my perspective.
He has spent his career being second fiddle to everyone and filling in when needed which over time i think has turned him into a loser. He seems to have no fight in him, which means he will never be a good striker. Maybe his treatment has enhanced this but still he is a fool to not step up and take his opportunity. When Carroll left, when Dembas away. He knows newcastle will not win anything in before he retires and he doesnt seem to care.
Whereas our younger players have fight in them

Comment #37Shola doesn’t do the ‘job’ people on here claim he does. All he does once in a while is chest a long ball down and pass it back to midfield and just stand there.put Titus Bramble up there and he would do exactly the same.
seriously who f****n cares if he played with a facemask, everyone else does, and he gets paid enough to do it.

My above post doesn’t even apply to you, because I’m certain that you don’t actually follow football/Newcastle United.
Did you even watch the game today? Because the whole team was absolutely dreadful. Clearly you didn’t notice, because the only person you pay attention to is Shola.
It’s actually a bit creepy.
