Newcastle Nice And Stable Now And A Lot More Relaxed

Ryan Taylor has revealed that things are a lot more stable at the Newcastle club.

Ryan Taylor – after scoring stunning winner at Sunderland

It seems ever since Alan Pardew arrived he has stamped his authority on the team and the club in a very positive way, and certainly the players seem right behind what he’s trying to do.

Add to that the very important fact that Newcastle have had their best season so far for many a long year, and things continue to look up on Tyneside.

Ryan has said the players are not particularly surprised at being in 6th position in the league:

“There’s only the big five clubs above us. Saying that we’re sixth but not surprised. We’ve had a great season and we’ve got some great players.”

“The club’s nice and stable now, so it’s going well. When people say ‘surprised’, no one is surprised because we know we’ve got some good players here.”

“We’re all excited to start working with Cisse and to see what he’s got for us. I know he’s obviously a big team member of Demba Ba.”

Newcastle had a hiccup on Saturday in that second half  at Fulham, but it’s important not to over-react to that too much, and generally Newcastle have performed just great this season.

One of their best ever wins over Manchester United by 3-0 just three weeks ago at St. James’ Park is testament to that.

The lads are keeping their firmly on the ground but would like to get to that 40 points mark as soon as possible, and Ryan is full of praise for the Newcastle manager, and the place is much more relaxed these days:

“It’s not just to get to 40, it’s to try to reach it as early as possible and to do it, you know, coming towards the end of January, that’ll be a massive bonus for us because then we can just kick on and enjoy the last half of the season.”

“Alan Pardew just come in with his own plans, his own staff, and he’s brought a number of players in who are completely different characters to what we already had here.”

“And to be honest, the place now just seems a lot more relaxed and it helps you for when you’ve got a game on the weekend.”

Alan Pardew has a chance to see out his contract at Newcastle, which still has another four and a half years to run, and we’d like him to stay over that period.

One reason for that is that he will have been very successful, and certainly so far Newcastle and Alan Pardew seem to have been match made in heaven.

Long may it continue.

Those concerned over Ben Arfa being missing in the Tenerife photos i can clear this up…

Hatem is a keen photographer, ideally he loves to snap passing trains but out in Tenerife he has been handed the most unlikely of situations where he can let flourish his real talent.

So, yes! He is there… but he’s behind the camera! Remember 2+2=84

ditto tendo… how can you doubt the mans steel-like conviction!

as we all know, anything that does happen in transfer windows from now on, we will know nothing about most likely… great for players coming in.. not so great for possible departures. lets just hope we keep our cards close to our chest for bringing a player in… but if one of the lads is set to leave then lets advertise it to the world and rack up his price… surely that is the MA business model after all!

HBA to stay, yeah, i’m pretty confident on it too to be fair… would be a massive curve ball if it did happen

squeaky bum time is about to start as the window slowly begins to close… and that applies to both incoming CB’s and any players going

If we don’t sign a CB we’d almost be throwing away out chance of 7th/8th place. One injury or suspension to a CB and we’re done for.

So HBA is leaving now is he? To which club exactly? Oh and Zaha is his replacement?

Interesting thoughts based on a few photos that he doesn’t appear in, maybe he was in France sorting out lawyers and accounts ready for being sued….maybe he believes cameras steal a part of ur soul….maybe he couldnt be bothered to pose…who knows!

    @WWJBD

I suggested this possibility, based on a very un-informative tweet.

    SkyGraemeBailey Graeme Bailey

@lee_ryder Ben Arfa to miss training camp because of draw, which took place on Sunday night? Really?

And then I considered recent reports linking Zaha to Newcastle United. Of course, I don’t think it will happen but it is a possibility. I hope it does not happen, Hatem Ben Arfa is one of my favourite players.

Well shame on u for setting this fuse alight haha

Look I don’t know where he was, maybe he is carrying a knock and we are covering it up as much as possible.

But if he goes he goes, am not too bothered tbh he isn’t exactly Messi and although am warming to him am not sold on him being our ‘star’

Not saying I want to replace him with Zaha either mate but if he goes then so be it imo

He isn’t a key member of our current team

Again I’d like to have him stay and become a key member but if he’s not up for it then have fun somewhere else Benny

HBA was given special leave and did not attend the trip to the ‘Reef.’ He was actually a guest of the French FA and drew the French F A cup balls.
