Newcastle Can Beat Anybody On Our Day

This afternoon’s game at White Hart Lane may be the most difficult game Newcastle have through the end of the season.

Tim Krul – all pressure is on Tottenham today

And Tim Krul, who is one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League this season, has said today there is no pressure on Newcastle, and it’s all on Tottenham, because they are expected to win the game today.

Tim is right, and Newcastle can go into this game and see how they match up against Tottenham, who are  one of the best sides in England this season, and have an outside chance of winning the league this season.

The 23 year-old Dutch International goalkeeper had this to say today:

“There is no pressure on us.” “We have to keep this momentum going, but it is not a game we have to win.”  “We will just go out there and give it a right good go.” “We have 14 finals – we know where we are at.”

“We will keep taking it week by week and keep grafting away.” “I have said it all season – we can beat anybody.” “If we are committed, and everybody goes out there and proves themselves, we can beat anybody.”

“We know it is going to be difficult, because they have fantastic players, but what momentum we have at the minute.”  “It was a tight game but they showed that extra quality.” “We have to have confidence this time.”

“It is a fantastic place to go and we are looking forward to it.” “We just want to keep going.” “We are 24 games into the season and it is incredible.” “We cannot wait for the next game.”

Extra pressure could be put on Tottenham before the game, if Manchester United beat Liverpool in the early game today and Manchester  City are at at Aston Villa tomorrow.

In fact, before the start of the game between Manchester United and Liverpool today, Louis Suarez acted the baby, and refused to shake hands with Patrice Evra, after both managers had said yesterday they would shake each other’s hand.

Suarez has just finished an eight match ban for racially abusing Evra during a game a few months ago.

Louis Suarez tried to avoid Evra’s hand, and Patrice tried to grab Suarez’ hand, but it was really childish behavior by the Uruguayan, and epitomizes the view that some  footballers are simply immature people.

There’s too many real problems in the world today, than to have this nonsense going on by highly paid and pampered footballers.

Back to something important – we are hoping Newcastle will be near their best today, and then maybe we can get something out of the game this afternoon.

That will shock them in London. 😀

Suarez didn’t shake Evra’s hand? WTF?
Should get a red card! No sportsmanship.

I don’t understand….Suarez was racist to Evra, and then Evra gets booed at Anfield and now Suarez refuses to shake his hand O.o

After witnessing what Suarez has just done refusing to shake Evras hand im so proud that we have players like Ba and Cisse playing for us, Not only talented but decent human being.

I dont care how good suarez is i wouldnt want him anywhere near a newcastle shirt if he was free and only demanded £2 a wk. What a dick.

Ed. For a week now I hear you saying that taking anything from this game will be a shock. Why? We got a drew with them already this season. I think we have a fair chance of drawing this, and with some luck on our side, or just pure quality in front, also win it. Don’t see us winning as a shocking result.

I smell a red card in the second half. Almost fighting in the tunnel? Nice. Liverpool hopefully will loose points.

The cheating racist hasn’t learned his lesson. Give him another 8 game ban. He may then get the gist or go to a different country where his type are considered acceptable. Scum.

No reason that we can’t take all three points.

We’ll have to play at our best but now we have two top quality strikers, it makes winning games like this a lot more likely.

You see what Spearing just did, Parker is liable to do the same if you pressure him! Very poor on the ball, always wants too many touches. HOUND HIM!

What would be the best result for us be from the sunderland v ansenal game later? A punishing draw with several suspensions/injuries?

Unfortunately I can’t see us getting anything today but I am praying I am wrong. Although Guthrie has done well recently and Perch is filling in pretty well I can’t see us winning the midfield battle. I think we could get over run. Whilst attack is the best form defence, if we push up too much we will get hit on the break. They have loads of pace.

I think Ba will play more of a No#10 role today, dropping back to fill out our midfield leaving Cisse up front to terrify King and Dawson

Carroll is an unnecessary player for Liverpool. They don’t use him at all. The same if they were playing right now with 10 players.

Arsenal and Scums should draw today with some injuries and/or cards. Best result for us I think.
