Alan Pardew – Mike Ashley Wants Success For Newcastle Fans

4:24 pm, Saturday, March 3rd, 2012 by Dr. Ed Harrison · 154 Comments

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew held a press conference earlier today before training,  and had Tim Krul and Fabricio Coloccini alongside him, and Alan made a really big deal that Newcastle have signed two of their best players to long term deals.

Mike Ashley – wants to build a successful Newcastle side

And so he should too,   because Tim Krul and Fab Coloccini are great players for Newcastle,  and are also the future of the club over the next few seasons.

Alan was in his shirt sleeves (a white shirt) with the blue track-suited Coloccini and Krul on either side of him, and Alan was obviously relieved and delighted that the club had signed up two of  our very best players.

This is what Alan said at the specially arranged press conference:

“Good morning, it’s early especially on the eve of such a big game  but we are so  pleased to announce that our captain Coloccini has signed a new four year contract and our goalkeeper  Tim Krul has signed a new five year contract.”

“We are absolutely delighted with the news and we’re sure our fans are,  and I think it  shows the intent in Mike Ashley to keep the core of this team together,  because that’s really the bedrock of any successful side.”

“As far as I’m concerned, for the players and staff it is going to be a huge boost ahead of tomorrow’s game, and I hope our fans have a nice smile on their face and continue that through Sunday,”

“We’ve signed Papiss Cisse for a huge fee, but sometimes the most important players are ones you have already, and who have done fantastic.”  “These guys sitting next to me have both got a chance of being the Player of the Year at this football club.”

“They’ve been absolutely terrific, they deserve their new contracts and, for me, it takes a big headache away knowing that these two guys will be in and around me.”

“I think Mike Ashley realizes he is going to be here for the long-term, and in view of that he is trying to make every possible chance for us to bring success to the fans and to the football club.”

“These are major, major signings in terms of doing that. The core of our team now are all under contract for a period of time – the next four or five years – and it gives us a great opportunity now to push on and have a successful season.”

“If I was a fan of Newcastle this morning, I couldn’t have better news than this. I would be absolutely delighted and looking forward to the game, and I hope they come in fantastic spirit tomorrow, and really give us the backing we need.”

Alan went out of his way to say that Mike Ashley had realized since he was going to be at the club for the long term, that  he wants to bring success to the Newcastle club, and that’s really one of the few times somebody has come out and said that Mike wants to build a top side.

But it’s becoming clear that the Newcastle owner  now seems to have a good idea of what he’s doing at Newcastle, and although he keeps making mis-steps, we think he has a good front man in Alan Pardew.

The Londoner who still talks about Newcarstle,  is obviously delighted to be the current manager of Newcastle United, that’s very clear.

Things are shaping up to be exciting times ahead for Newcastle fans, and Alan is also an excellent communicator and Mike needs someone up front,  to tell the fans what’s going on at the club, and Alan does his best to fulfill that job.

With Liverpool being beaten 2-1 by Arsenal at Anfield earlier today, and Chelsea losing 1-0 at West Brom, Newcastle now have a chance to go 7 points ahead of Liverpool with a win against Sunderland tomorrow afternoon, and level on points with Chelsea.

We will have to wait and see what he really wants. Still not all is great with this guy.

  • 2 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:27 PM

Nothing is ever all great with any football club. Mike has messed up good and proper in the past, but the signs are good for the future….doesn’t mean he wont do things along the way to p*ss us off!

  • 3 billy // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:27 PM

I know most of you nerdy geeks on here think pardews good because he won manager of the month once on FIFA12 but in the real world he hasnt won anything!

  • 4 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:30 PM

Billy….can I ask how we’ve become nerdy geeks? What is this based on?

    1) Us using the same forum as you?
    2) Us maybe enjoying a game or two of fifa?
    3) Us supporting NUFC?
    4) Our opinions differing from yours?
    5) All of the above?

  • 5 billy // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:30 PM

Ibizatoon your to ignorant for Ashley bother himself with if the mackems win tomorrow the NUFC season tickets will be flooding ebay!

  • 6 WWJBD // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:32 PM

    Billy
Haha aww u do make me laugh

  • 7 JackButler // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:32 PM

They’ve only been given new contracts so they can be sold for more come the summer along with Tiote, Cabaye, Ba and Cisse, while HBA will join Barca and become the greatest player in history proving that Pardew is cluless and only employed as Ashley’s puppet. While Mike Ashley is the Sith Lord, Spawn of Satan who wears a coat made from Dalmatian fur and sleeps on a bed made of ten pound notes, wearing a Spurs shirt.

Just in case a certain group don’t post on this thread, thought I cover the main points for them ;)

  • 8 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:33 PM

Sorry Billy…I think I may be too ignorant to understand what it is you’re saying there. Was that supposed to be two sentences?

  • 9 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:34 PM

Well said JB….that should cut out 50 posts or so

  • 10 Level 7 Hero // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:36 PM

    @Billy

Why does it make a difference if Pardew or O’Neil has won anything before joining there clubs? Surely it only matters what they do at our club

I love Mackems, taking O’Neilwinning the Scottish title and claiming it as there own. You couldnt made it up.

Shola Ameobi has more appearances and has scored more goals in Europe than Sunderland have in there entire history.

Most Sunderland players live, eat and go out to drink and Newcastle.

Why do you have loads of pink seats on show at your stadium with rubbish all over the pitch?

Whats your take on this? Cheers.

  • 11 JackButler // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:37 PM

A Sunderland fan under the age of 40 has seen his team relegated more times than he’s seen them beat Newcastle United :)

  • 12 Oleg G // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:38 PM

    Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:27 PM

I am not talking about the football club. I am talking about the man himself.

  • 13 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:40 PM

Oleg G…fair enough. I meant Ashley (I realize that’s not what I wrote…apologies). Overall things are improving (with ashley running things). However, I do expect there to be further surprises down the road…he is what he is

  • 14 dazza // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:40 PM

Wishes for the remainder of the season:

    Beat the mackems
Sign Ba to a long term deal
    Finish above mackems/liverpool (Europe)

Level 7 Hero i refer you to the nerdy geeks section NUFC under this regime will win zero Ashley is a money obsessive and pardews a win free zone so happily delude yourself that a miracle will happen and NUFC will suddenly start putting trophies in the cabinet after a 100years of nothing! come on even a Labour voter can work out you are being conned

  • 20 JackButler // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:43 PM

Oleg – Thats what was posted on here earlier in the week, a nice stat :)

  • 21 voodoo85 // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:44 PM

win tomorrow and we be in 6th, level on points with chelsea and 3 behind arsenal in 4th.

crucuially, 7 ahead of liverpool although they have game in hand (everton)

good goin after 27 games, just need to win 2moro

  • 22 ochytoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:44 PM

    billy
Pardew actually won The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy with Southampton…….

  • 23 Oleg G // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:45 PM

He is throwing everything he can. Torres, Meireles, Maluda. Whatever. hhh… crazy. But the owner already made his mind.

  • 24 ToonDownSouth // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:45 PM

    Ibiza

billy appears to be completely illiterate. I assume that’s why he’s refering to anyone with a grasp of the English language as ‘nerdy geeks’.

Poor, poor mackems. As usual, more obsessed with Newcastle United than with their own dump of a ‘club’.

  • 25 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:45 PM

Come on WBA!!!! Shaping up to be quite a weekend….unless you’re talking to Billy…then it’s quite a downer

  • 26 ToonDownSouth // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:47 PM

I actually really like Andre Villas Boas, and I hope he gets given the time he needs.

Chelsea should have learned by now that the managerial revolving door doesn’t help build a football club.

He was bought in to oversea an evolution in the teams style and playing staff, and that’s exactly what he’s doing.

  • 27 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:48 PM

What’s the chances of us scoring 16 2moro to put us above Chelsea?

TDS…..He certainly does…I’ve thought about re-posting his comments with corrections…might be a full time job though.

The mackem forums must be really p*ss poor to want to come on a newcastle one for entertainment

  • 28 max // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:48 PM

    hope we win!!!

  • 29 Thump // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:48 PM

Give him a chance, Ibiza – he’s only just been told about pay monthly dongles.

  • 30 Rowan Milsted // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:48 PM

Why do some people seem so delighted that ‘we won’t win anything’? Are you that preoccupied with being proved right that you’d happily do so to the detriment of the club? I hope you’re not at SJP tomorrow. Your kind of negativity is more crippling than bad management.

  • 31 billy // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:48 PM

ToonDownSouth how long you been a english teacher instead of a nerdy geek who thinks hes smart bad ass!

  • 32 Oleg G // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:49 PM

    voodoo85 // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:44 PM

Chelsea are so static, wow. How much did they pay for these players? 1 gazillion pounds?

  • 33 moonraker // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:49 PM

Whatever has happened in the past under the Ashley regime, the signing of Colo and Krul are massive for the club because it means Ashley is investing in the team for the best reasons.

The effect this will have on the other players and potential signings cannot be underestimated.

It also sends out a signal that if you are worth it you will earn big money at Newcastle. So we can compete at the top of the PL.

Delighted!! Now get them playing football Pards cos they were poor last week and need to put on a good show against the Mackems.

    HWTL :-)

  • 34 ToonDownSouth // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:50 PM

    Ibiza

I remember looking at one, and honestly, about 1 in 5 topics was about Newcastle.

“Why do they always beat us?”
“How do they have so much fight and spirit?”
“How are they doing to well when they didn’t spend a penny?”

  • 35 Thump // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:50 PM

Agreed TDS but we all know that Abramavich won’t give him the time.

  • 36 ochytoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:51 PM

“ToonDownSouth how long you been a english teacher instead of a nerdy geek who thinks hes smart bad ass!”

    Billy….Here you go mate…

ToonDownSouth, how long have you been an English teacher for instead of a nerdy geek who thinks he’s a smart bad ass?

  • 39 ToonDownSouth // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:51 PM

Bless you billy. Must be nice not having school to go to. Why don’t you go outside and play in the garden?

  • 40 Thump // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:51 PM

Do you really think that calling everybody a “nerdy geek” will offend anybody, Billy?

  • 41 JackButler // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:52 PM

I think billy’s post’s should be applauded, they’re not that bad for someone who hasn’t mastered the art of walking upright yet

  • 42 billy // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:52 PM

  • 43 ToonDownSouth // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:52 PM

  • 51 Oleg G // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:57 PM

I think that for the most parts of today, the results are helping us. Norwich L, Chelsea L, Everton D, Swansea L, Liverpool L (maybe was better that they would draw).

Now we need to do the job.

  • 52 Rowan Milsted // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:57 PM

    billy

Why don’t you take your brainless offensive tripe somewhere else? So now it’s wrong to be clever and wrong to be gay… wow, you sound credible.

  • 53 Thump // Mar 3, 2012 at 4:58 PM

L’pool and Arsenal would have been ideal to draw but honestly, I like seeing Liverpool beaten so I’ve got no complaints

  • 56 Rowan Milsted // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:02 PM

Some really good results today from a NUFC perspective. Shame my accumulators were out again! Now the stage has been well and truly set for a Toon win tomorrow. Come on lads, do it!

  • 59 Rowan Milsted // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:05 PM

Haha, he calls you stupid but thinks work out is all one word! Poetry. Keep it coming.

  • 60 Thump // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:05 PM

I fail to see what Mike Ashley has to do with your decreasing intelligence, billy.

Seeing as you’ve mentioned it though, no I’m not happy with the majority of the Ashley regime (go and look through some of my articles if you can understand big words – if not use a dictionary).

And for the record, I am never “happy to ape” and I’m sure that goes for the majority of homosapians.

  • 61 Rowan Milsted // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:06 PM

And Billy, if you were mature enough you’d know it was about respect, not pathetic name calling. When you grow up you may learn that.

  • 62 Thump // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:06 PM

@Rowan: I think you’ve misunderstood what he said. He was obviously saying that while a billionaire is taking the piss, he will be at the gym.

    It’s all so obvious!

  • 63 ToonDownSouth // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:07 PM

    Thump

Couldn’t agree more about the Liverpool Arsenal match. I actually celebrated RVP’s goal – he’s an absolute joy to watch.

I also like billy’s implication that you’re some sort of ‘Hail Ashley’ merchant.

Along with his implication that being homosexual is a bad thing. Christ some people are backwards.

  • 64 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:07 PM

  • 66 toonfan76 // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:08 PM

Billy, If your team doesn’t have a decent enough blog for you to visit, that doesn’t really justify you coming on here and stirring it up with us Toon Fans. Come tomorrow afternoon there will be tears in your beer, assuming your old enough to drink.

  • 67 ochytoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:08 PM

Anyone else think that Chelsea have become what we were in the last 6/7 years? They’ve gone through a number of managers, have an ageing core on high wages and have a d*ckhead owner.

  • 68 Thump // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:09 PM

@TDS: Agreed, he’s wasted at Arsenal. He really is carrying that team and until Wenger understands that defence is an important part of the game, he’ll keep carrying the team.

Howay, we all know I’m secretly gargling Ashley’s love custard. He actually likes it when I slaughter him – it’s a kink of his.

  • 69 Level 7 Hero // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:09 PM

Billy has little man syndrome, and won’t be seen again when we beat them tomorrow unfortunetly.

Why dont you have any response too…

Shola Ameobi has more appearances and has scored more goals in Europe than Sunderland have in there entire history.

A Sunderland fan under the age of 40 has seen his team relegated more times than he’s seen them beat Newcastle United

Why no response to these statements Billy? Why?

Why do Sunderland players live in Newcastle? Please respond with reasoned arguements as to why Newcastle and Middlesborough are above Sunderland terms of European history?

Yet one man, called Martin, can change all that. I bet Martin can even build Sunderland an airport can he and some tourist attractions?

    Enjoy chatting with you Bill.

I can’t wait for tomorrow now, hopefully this will give us the impetus to go out and hammer Sunderland tomorrow. You’ll find most of us are very critical of Pardew and the squad’s current style of play and we’ve all openly admitted that a lot of our results have been very lucky but on the same token – if you’re not pleased with being 6th, you either aren’t a fan or you don’t understand football

89 JackButler snap out of your black and white coma man we have had nothing to brag about for 60years so dont give me this TOON bull every years going to be the year we win something Alan shearer fell for that crap and retired trophy less.

  • 98 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:29 PM

    I’m leaping about…but I’m a nancy, so it’s expected

  • 99 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:30 PM

Billy…honestly mate, if you want anyone to listen to a word you’re saying try giving a solution. Don’t keep giving us the same tripe. We’ve been trophyless for ages…what’s your plan for success?

  • 100 Thump // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:30 PM

Well Ibiza, that’s a tough question. If I was born a Mackem supporter I would hope somebody would inform social services and get me taken away from them but if I made a conscious choice to be a Mackem fan then I probably wouldn’t know any better and would hope that there’d be a padded cell waiting for me.

  • 101 ToonDownSouth // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:30 PM

    Alan Shearer didn’t retire trophyless.

  • 102 WWJBD // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:31 PM

Hahahaha aww bless billy getting narked as he has been rumbled

  • 103 ochytoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:32 PM

RVP, a very modest player, have nothing but the utmost respect for him.

  • 104 ToonDownSouth // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:32 PM

    Also billy,

There’s a few buttons over towards the right hand side of your keyboard. One of them has a small dot on it, and you press that one when you wish to end a sentence.

  • 105 Thump // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:32 PM

@billy: So go and support Man U. Seriously – go on. Toon fans live match to match and wait for a trophy, we wouldn’t love our club any more or less than if we had won every honour in the game or if we hadn’t won a thing – we support the club, not the trophy cabinet.

  • 106 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:33 PM

Thump…you’d hope the doctor would put you out of your misery at birth if you were born that way!

  • 107 JackButler // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:33 PM

billy – Why should I snap out of my Black and White coma, when I love the club?
What should I do? Go and support someone else? Perhaps someone who wins trophy’s on a regular basis?
Or I could just give up all hope as a football fan and with life in general and become a Sunderland supporter?

  • 108 Thump // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:34 PM

@TDS: I was going to mention that but he’s obviously talking about with us. You know, the decision he made to sign for his home club and wear the number 9. That decision.

    Decision.

  • 109 Thump // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:34 PM

@Ibiza: So would I but apparently there’s these weird laws about post natal abortions :(

  • 110 ToonDownSouth // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:35 PM

    WWJBD

Bloody good news to wake up to this morning mate! I honestly believed that Colo wouldn’t sign on, nor did I think the club would offer him a deal till he’s 34. Happy to be proved wrong though.

    Gettings nervous before the derby though. I’m always an absolute state for the entire game – unless we’re 5-0 up of course (;

  • 111 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:36 PM

I’m sure Shearer regrets not winning trophy’s with Newcaslte. However, I doubt he regrets joining Newcaslte for even one second

  • 112 ochytoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:36 PM

    Thump
I think there’s an exception for Sunderland fans, didn’t the Conservatives repeal the law on vermin hunting?

  • 113 morocco0015 // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:37 PM

totally agree about RVP, might get 40 goals this season, incredible.

  • 114 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:37 PM

Thump….Very true. I’m sure they can make special arrangements in these particular tragic cases. It’s the right thing to do.

DISCLAIMER….I am in no way backing the killing of baby mackems…it is merely a joke

  • 115 ToonDownSouth // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:37 PM

    Thump

    Haha, no choice to make is there. For instance, when Newcastle come calling for my services – which I assume they will any year now – I’ll gladly accept the #9 without a second thought (;

    and @109 : oooooooooo lol (;

  • 116 Thump // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:38 PM

Not sure about that ochy, I’ll have to look it up and take note of it!

  • 117 ToonDownSouth // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:39 PM

    morroco

Incredible isn’t it. I honestly think he’s up there with Messi & Ronaldo at the moment.

Every single week he’s doing something incredible – so often infact that it’s becoming quite ordinary!

  • 118 JackButler // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:39 PM

Thump @109 – The laws doesn’t count when the parents are actually brother and sister

  • 120 WWJBD // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:40 PM

    TDS
Couldn’t agree more mate I was very worried for the summer and losing Colo and Krul but bit more confident now!

Am very relaxed about tomorrow if we lose its just one match if Sunderland lose its the end of their season haha can see it being a draw but just don’t see us losing

  • 121 Thump // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:40 PM

    @ibiza: Not “killing” – “euthanising”

@TDS: I’ve been telling Pards to sign me up for ages but apparently holding Nile Ranger at knife poin doesn’t do much good for squad morale.

  • 122 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:42 PM

Thump…must keep up with the legal lingo…going to get myself in all sorts of trouble!

  • 123 morocco0015 // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:43 PM

TDS, aye mate, not many hit a ball so sweetly, up there with the best.

  • 124 ochytoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:44 PM

    nightfa11
I have a theory on that release clause. I reckon it was put in by us so that if his knee explodes, we pay him £7mil and he is out of contract with us. That would explain the silence on it to me.

  • 125 ToonDownSouth // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:44 PM

    Demba Ba:

“Last weekend against Wolves, Ronald Zumba just looked at me in the middle of the match and said ‘what a stadium to play in’. It made me happy to be here.”

That’s good to hear, although slightly strange seeing as you could hear a pin drop! Maybe he was taking the piss haha.

  • 126 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:46 PM

Ochy…isn’t Ba on a pay as you play type of deal?

  • 127 JackButler // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:50 PM

The release clause could be anything. It could be activated if we are relegated, or if we fail to make a top ten finish, or it could be that if a named club were to come in for him and match the reported 7mil figure, he is free to talk to them. There are so many different ways for it to come into effect but lets hope that he’s offered a new deal soon

  • 128 morocco0015 // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:50 PM

when Billy was born the best bit went in the bucket and was thrown away

  • 129 GeordieDan // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:53 PM

    Who is this Billy twat?

We haven’t heard from Daffy for a while and its usually around derby day he comes on here and talks utter bollox before crawling back under his Mackem rock.

Billy are you Daffy in disguise?

I surprised someone as dumb as you knows how to turn a computer on.

How about you piss off and talk your shite elsewhere eh? Samaritans maybe?

  • 130 Rosted Pork // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:55 PM

    tnx,roshan B-)

  • 131 Indian Magpie // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:56 PM

    Geordie dan

    Daffy was here yesterday

  • 132 ochytoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:57 PM

    GeordieDan
Samaritans would probably encourage him lol

  • 133 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:57 PM

GeordieDan…Billy is a true Newcaslte supporter. Unlike the rest of us supposedly leaping about the place with joy

  • 134 Indian Magpie // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:57 PM

so a 16 goal margin will put us 5th, i will take 17-1 happily

  • 135 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:58 PM

perhaps even 18-2 Indian Magpie :)

  • 136 JackButler // Mar 3, 2012 at 5:59 PM

What are the odd’s on a Catermole red card tomorrow

  • 137 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 6:00 PM

Probably on par with Tiote JB

  • 138 morocco0015 // Mar 3, 2012 at 6:00 PM

Now ur getting carried away lads

  • 139 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 6:01 PM

    Morocco…really? lol

  • 140 JackButler // Mar 3, 2012 at 6:02 PM

Ibiza – Would have thought Catermole would have shorter odd’s than Tiote, saying that I hope the first think that Tiote does is flatten Sessegnon

  • 141 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 6:03 PM

JB…based on tiote’s comments early he seems well up for it. We’ve seen him on a normal day….I fear for O’Neil’s injury list after this one

  • 142 JackButler // Mar 3, 2012 at 6:05 PM

Ibiza – hahahaha he does seemed to be wound up, which is a scary proposition, if I was a Sunderland player I’d call in sick rather than face him :)

  • 143 morocco0015 // Mar 3, 2012 at 6:05 PM

t Ihink the way Cabaye likes a tackle, you can put his name in the hat

  • 144 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 6:06 PM

Either way…should be a good game…hope my internet holds up so I can watch the game…can’t stand SS website for game updates

  • 145 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 6:07 PM

JB…if I was a Sunderland player i’d constantly call in sick…screw having to wear that red and white piece of cr*p

  • 146 GeordieDan // Mar 3, 2012 at 6:08 PM

    Indian>

Really? Mint, hope he comes back on. I love winding that little goon up. His patter is shocking.

    IbizaToon>

I wish I was a true supporter mate. I’ve been working on my leaping but this old footy injury just won’t let me. :(

    OchyToon>

Billy’s probably just a lonely guy who’s already been banned from all the gay blogs due to his aggressive nature and he’s hunting for new game wherever he can.

Today its us, tomorrow he’ll take on the West Mid-lothian Morris dancers!

  • 147 JackButler // Mar 3, 2012 at 6:08 PM

I’m off out for the night, take care guys

  • 148 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 6:10 PM

    Take it easy JB.

GeordieDan…Don’t give up mate..try more of a prancing hop…i’m sure Billy would approve of that

  • 149 GeordieDan // Mar 3, 2012 at 6:10 PM

I aim to please mate. I’ll give it a go. ;)

  • 150 Ibizatoon // Mar 3, 2012 at 6:15 PM

Good man Dan….be careful not to injure yourself

  • 151 danishmag // Mar 3, 2012 at 8:32 PM

    hey lads..
Still 6th in the league.. How crazy i was, predicting that back in august..

We have the best and most outs to end higher, than Liverpool, Chelski and Arsenal..
    Liverpool… They do suck!
Chelski.. The players and the manager do not work well together..
Arsenal.. They rely on one man.. Persie..
We have.. a TEAM, that fight like hell for one another..
We will take that 4th spot!
Win tomorrow, and a win next week against Arsenal (like last season away) And we are level with Arsenal..
Pardew.. The best manager since Sir Bobby! I said it back in august! And he will be here for a long time, as he is a manager of Mike Ashleys head.. And Ashley is not going anywhere!
The ladder going farther up, each week.. And that even without spending money.. Remember FFP!
    In Pardew i trust!!
    howay the lads

  • 152 memsab // Mar 3, 2012 at 9:38 PM

    I agree with Dazza (14)
so pleased when Arsenal beet Liverpool
Made my day Coloccini and Krul signing today – by the way its my first time on this site!

  • 153 applepine // Mar 3, 2012 at 10:27 PM

tomorrow its win or be overtaken in the near future

  • 154 Trent Toon // Mar 4, 2012 at 8:28 AM

Can someone describe to me what happens at the end of the season with our european hopes? Now that live pool has won the carling cup, i need some insight to where we need to place to get in! Thanks
