Here is Alan Pardew’s interview to the BBC after what Alan said was an ugly derby game today with Sunderland – but he gives so much credit to Shola Ameobi – who rescued Newcastle with a stoppage time equalizer.

    if ba puts his pen away then i think we would probably go on to win.. think we was harshly done with 2or3 other penalty shouts but i was at game so may of been different on tv.. having said that if mclean puts his chance away they’re home n dry

    @nufc786 & geoff77
    Disgusting comments, u both reek of hypocritical nonsense.
    U might call yourself fans, but never ever should u even try to don the name “supporters”.
    Cause u both evidently are not.

    nufc786 & geoff77 – OUT!

    Our position is due to some great defending in the first twelve games.
    Pure luck.
    Graham Carr’s scouting.

    I think Pardew has a limited time.
    He needs to start taking some risks.

    How many times can you give the same pre-match / half-time speech.

    His predictable selections aren’t getting bums off seats.

    Is Ashley brave enough to trade up on another manager?
    If AVB is available I’d be more than happy to see a change,

    HBA rules. AVB & HBA would be superb.

    By far the dumbest fu cking qoute of the day! You want to replace our manager who ‘never picks our best player’ with a manager whos just been sacked, by a team a team 2 points above us, with a transfer kitty worth about £100 mil more than ours, and NEVER picked ANY off there best players! Lampard cole essien alex anelka lukaku etc
    Go back to playing football manager geoff

    pards has done a great job.. n at least he ain’t spouting lies off like oneil n saying other teams players should of been sent off and that our management had been in ref changing room trying to influence at half time. end of the day we are a mid table team in 6th 5 points clear of 7th 2points from 5th some people need to get to grips with reality

    we deserved to be behind after that first half. but in the second we deserved to put it in several times. talk about ten men behind the ball. they were backs to the wall for 40 minutes. a draw was still a fair result

    Dannyo look at the last thread, I attempted to have a coherent discussion with Geoff77 and he refused to read it just because I didn’t put paragraphs in for his reading pleasure. Seems like we are talking to figurative brick walls who have entrenched views about our manager that will never be intelligently put forward because they are not intelligently held views. We are wasting our energy

    when you see how much things change with some people after only a few games it’s so annoying.
    before the season starts there should be a blog which askes bloggers what will be acceptable as positional finish and that can show which are glory hunter and which are sensible

    @Ruddy
    Yeah, i get what you’re saying, but Ed is not moderating or not having other people do it.
    So one does what one can and defends ones team and players.
    But yes, it falls on deaf ears, atleast we know they’re not adult people and they do not remember more recently than a year ago.
    It’s agonizing that they are allowed to stay on this site, as they only stir up shit storms about our beloved team who atm are incredibly successfull.
    Highest placed team since SBR and they want to sack the manager, go figure. I’m just amazed by the stupidity.

    Some perspective needed here I think. First, we need to completely ignore the mackem who realises his mob of thugs didn’t quite last the game plan out. Second we need to resolutely ignore the single-named unibrowed cro-magnon gumps who say the same old rot about pardew having to go but have no replacement. Third, ignore Benry as he has simply changed his name to renege on his promise.. Having blanked these worthless individuals and their detracting input, we will be able to salvage some sensible banter that is actually nufc/footy-related and thereby save the blog from erosion by the caustic effects of their low-IQ offerings. It will take gritted teeth and manly resolve but we can do it.

    The unruly soap-dodgers were well-drilled to pack the midfield with their odious thugs, and had the over-compensating Mr Dean to help them not lose. Willo played to script with the shirt-tug thing and the aimlessly-directed pass and head out despite loads of time o hand, which I fear will never leave his game, thus signalling his demotion when we get a new CB. And, no he is NOT Championship quality ‘at best’ but a prem understudy. Yes they pulled a few saves from Krul but we bounced their bar and missed a pen. Second half totally different teams, us very good, and with the subs and repositioning (many posters previously suggesting a similar lineup) they began soiling themselves from the off. Any one of them was earmarked to go off, but it was Sessegnon that paid the price. I doubt there was much of a game in store for him as he would have been replaced anywayby the retreating MoN. Law of averages dictated we would get a goal or two as the crosses, passes,corners and shots hailed them. Inevitably it was the one and only Shola that stepped into the right area to poke it home. Thanks to him for the deserved point, the disarming of aforesaid haters, and te dispatching of the weating horde back to their dark caves until we stuff them at their place next time. Not comfortable to watch, but job done, dirty deed averted. This game will stand us in good stead for some tough games ahead. And HBA was absolutely awesome,. Please do yourself a big favour and don’t make yourself look daft by disagreeing with that, Shola’s value to the club, and Pardew’s achievements this season.

    Geoff77 whether or not I use paragraphs is irrelevant, I do not have to use paragraphs this is not A-Level English, I am not writing to please you grammatically, you chose to ignore what I wrote simply because you did not agree with it. Whether you read what I am writing, or not is a matter for you, but don’t insult my style of writing simply because you can find no fault in the content of my argument.

    I worry that Willo is losing confidence, hence all his mistakes, he was a rock in the first few games, but then things became his fault and his confidence said good bye.
    It’s not good, and todays match isn’t gonna do him any better.
    If he has a strong psyche he’ll come back stronger, or, most likely, he’ll buckle completely.
    Fortunatly, it’s not long left of the season.

    When youre team lose or draw u need 2 suport them,can’t just suport youre team when they are winning….that is not a suporter,that is a “i cheer for Newcastle but don’t really care and don’t like the team when they don’t win suporter”
    Get a grip and suport youre team through thick and thin!!!!
