The following policies should be taken into consideration before commenting:
An update on my health situation - we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects - diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.
And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones.
There are no treatments left for me to go on.I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and we will treat the side effects of the treatments I have had.
It's down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will now take its course.
I hope Newcastle can get many wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
Thanks for all your help through the years - it's very much appreciated

Comment #121Its truth that Alan Pardew should be given credit here for play this team. Good one.
And we are just starting out and most of the players are only with us for 1-2 season.
THE MANAGEMENT
The Management MUST continuing on Good Buys In the Market and the current team playing together as a group will improve.
I have not worries if the management keeps this going..(the management Mustl not always bend back ward when an offer comes in, they will have to consider carefully base on the team progress and e rest lays on the player mind/heart)

Comment #122davybtoon, Obertan did ok. But same problem as always. He charges forward and hits the problen. “What should I do now?” Ok probably in french. But that’s his line of thought.

Comment #124Back from the Emirates, I am so pissed off. I think Obertan is retarded, he has no understanding of the game, that’s scary.
We gave the ball away too cheaply, and that created many chances for Arsenal.
But come on, why at the 93rdm minute, nobody can’t take his yellow card and stop this counter. Nobody was on a yellow at that time as Guthrie replaced Tiote. For me there were three opportunities to foul. Nobody took it.
A foul. A yellow. A set piece. And a likely draw. We need to be more cynical, especially when outplayed.
BTW Van Persie is a tw#t.

Comment #126Toonking – Thanks mate just trying to make some hard headed individuals see the positives and the bigger picture. A loss is a loss but this was against a team that has been top 4 for more than a decade. They ooze in class and have much more experienced players with more pace than ours too. We’re still learning but learning very fast as a team and so is Pardew whom deserves credit for the effort and success we’re having in the club in general.

Comment #127I wonder what the arsenal players say about tonight. I bet a good few of them are knackered. We’ve won some respect with a game like that. Were not quite elitist but were standing proud over quality clubs, including the two mersey sides

Comment #128At the end of the day we need to focus on giving the players and pardew some credit to get to we’re we have we have had a phenomenal season which has surpassed everyone’s expectations now let look to Norwich and getting a result yes Simpson made a mistake but we could of got beat by a lot more Krul made some fantastic saves and HBA was sublime today Europe will be a tough ask if we don’t perform at the standards we can it could be worse we could be looking at the electric league next year

Comment #130Tough game today. To put in perspective. We were playing probably the team in the prem that is playing best atm on their turf.
Nice to see a tight defense back. The goal was a schoolboy error but look at the stats, it could have been a lot more.
I feel Pardew did good with tactics except for Obertan. If he can gamble on him then why not gamble on someone like Vuckic who has always been trained for that role that Obertan did tonight. He just was non existent and it placed more pressure on Ba.
HBA proved why he should be in the starting line up. He may have given away possession a few times but he also serviced everyone. His off the ball work was excellent always available and i think when he plays he encourages more movement from the rest of the team.
We put in a good shift, were dominated at times but compared to recent performances it was nice to see something.
My ratings
Krul: Good keeper, seems to be building up a temper was solid under pressure today.
Simmo: GIVE HIM SOME SLACK once again cleared off the line always puts in a shift. Solid defender
Colo: Again solid. Reads the game very well. Only flaw is his pace.
Willo: Did better than he has been. Improvement from past few games.
Santon: GOOD TO SEE SOME DISCIPLINE FROM HI TODAY NOT ALWAYS RUNNING FORWARD. IT ALLOWED JONAS TO ATTACK A BIT MORE. Still not 100% on him being a defender though. Made one really good run that nearly got us a goal though.
Tiote: Consistent. Although seemed a bit weaker on the ball today.
Cabaye: has those games where he looks non existent but he serviced his men around him well. Helped out Benny a lot but did give away possession more than usual for him.
Jonas: Looked slightly more energetic than usual today. I prefer him when he roams though. Always more lively.
HBA: Possibly our best player today along with Simmo adn Colo. Always providing options for team mates. Tons of energy (was everywhere) Scored a good goal needs to play rest of season.
Obertan: Might aswell have been playing without. Although one bit of credit to him was that he did make a few canny passes out to Benny. He just has no hold up play. He runs to far and is easily wrestled off the ball. Would have liked to see Guthrie on with Tiote and Cabaye instead as Guthrie can play nice passing football would have also allowed Cabaye to get more into the game. We are wasting Cabayes attacking capabilities.
Ba: Worked their defense well must have been knackered at the end and took a lot of beatings. With a good partner I have no doubts he would have scored at least 1. He was alone most of the game.
Perch: Puzzling substitution. couldnt understand what it was aiming at but he did show an improved read of the game. Being up against Walcott and he held up. A player that is coming along I feel. But better suited to a DM role, Perhaps if he replaced Obertan because it would have alowed Cabaye to get more involved in attacks. Also I know from his time at Forrest he is half decent on the attack Perchy.
Shola: Some nice hold up play. He did make some nice tiny touches that will go unnoticed by many. He ran though and even if we got nowt out of it he still troubled their defense at times. Wouldnt have minded seeing him play with Ba for longer they seem to have an understanding.
Again i think we should have played Vuckic with Ba. Hes an actual midfielder. We have seen he has a hell of a shot at times on him and he has done well at Cardiff. He will be match fit and full of confidence.
Pardew: Came into the game with the right tactics but in reality was Obertan the right man for them? No. He made some puzzling changes that while i wouldnt say cost us the game they did prevent us from having a chance of winning it.
Wonder what it would be like with Cisse as a lone striker. Although I think Pards got it right with Shola over Cisse today (although I wouldnt have put a second striker on).
The thing is that while it may have appeared to be a 4-5-1 it wasnt the right 4-5-1. that 5th midfielder needed to be a player with passing ability. Obertan was just as inefffective as Cisse was against the Scum

Comment #131well off to bed now and a final post you negatives should think about only sugar daddy clubs can expect a team in no time not well run financial clubs like ours.
this year is what i would call the beginning of the era as i see 4 players in this team who can become super star if not already and they are
ba
krul
tiote
saylor- if he can stay fit
also i think we have 5 who are not quite there but just need time and these are
cisse
cabaye
HBA very close to being top class
vuckic
ferguson
and the rest fit into one of 3 catagories which are
. not good enough for top 6 teams e.g. willo
.can be ok as a sub for now but not a starter e.g. ameobi
.is approaching the end of his career to be class as a star e.g. colo
so goodnight from toonking who is a happier goedie that carroll will be

Comment #132“It was a poor throw-in, Danny (Simpson) was injured and couldn’t get back and the goal came”
Jeeeeez… and we want re-sign with this creature? How you can make a throw when you are injured? Our players are dumb… our manager is dumb… HBA was dropped for less than this kind a mistake… let see now what will happend with Simpson.

Comment #133Also my friend the Arsenal fan is giving me SH!t apparently Newcastle did nothing but dive all match and we lied down when Arsenal were dominating. Im dont get how he can say that. And to make it worse he was at the match to see it all so maybe he didnt have his glasses on.
On the other hand. If we play like that against Norwich you have to think we can win it. We should do. We played better today (especially in the first half)
Problems: we gave away possession more times than we should/
We failed to get the ball back from arsenal almost every time.
Today we matched arsenal for tactics and wouldve for firepower if not for Obertan.
We need to work on more 1 touch football though. Arsenal (much like Spurs) looked very dangerous because of the sheer pace with which they brought the ball up field.
