We should be aiming to keep hold of the 6th spot now.
    Should be doable tbh.

Thought we looked a lot more solid when perch came on, u can’t hav go at the lads put the effort in there, simmo shouldn’t hav giv the ball away with less than 30seconds to go

    simpson for sure
for all the stick he get of us including me he did much better than santon and jonas put together today
esspecially when he had such a poor winger in the 1st half

To the guy who said to relax cos we are 6th.

It is my personal opinion that our football this season could have easily have seen us in 16th rather than 6th.

We are simply not good enough and don’t deserve the position we are in.

    There were no impressive players.

HBA scored but didn’t get the ball almost at all.
Jonas worked his socks off, great defending winger he is 🙂
Krul with some great saves but those long balls will be the end of me.
    Colo with some good defending.

Cabaye Tiote not pressuring enough. Cabaye was very weak today.
Ameobi was ok, but nothing changed in our game in the end. Ba was running all around and trying to get those long/high balls, but what’s the point?
Simmo, Willo, Perch, Santon, Guthrie, Ober – nothing special to say.

Of course we deserve to be 6th. We’ve got 44 points while nr 7 have 39. Simple maths.

6th is such a good position for a team which lacks so much in cover beattie we aren’t doing so good now because of lack of cover but are deservedly where we should be

@13 simpson might have cost us it but why didn’t other players take it off him and compared to how poor the left was at defending crosses simpson was superb besides the one who really cost us the game was obatan who was stupid and passed it back when he should have passed to ba or had a shot at goal

I’m sorry, but why is ben arfa being over looked here? He played amazing! He was at right back tackling for the majority of the match! and of course scored a goal!

44 points on the board , of course we deserve to be in 6th position. I wish some people would support the team instead of slagging them off all the time .

Anyone else a tiny bit skeptical of krul for the goals, they were both goalscoring positions and a keeper to be beaten is not bad at all but I thought he tryed to make himself big rather then actually throw himself at the ball/dive towards.. More so the second. We deserved a point as we had a plan but can’t grumble at the loss. Just the way it happend why was simpson on the throwin if he was injured???

Do u reckon I think the first was maybe unstoppable as rvp had eithet corner, that was willos poor man marking, I think maybe a tiny bit I did say tiny skeptical of the seond as krul focused on making big rather then getting the ball from vermalens feet. Like I said can’t fault him as it was krul vs vermalen in a very good goalscoring position and no defenders near. But can’t help but think on another day had he charged and lunged for the ball could he have stopped it. Needless to say not his fault at all. Him and guti after the game first in for a bit ruckus!

To be fair, people do slag the team off massively. I personally think the whole team did well considering it took 94 minutes for them to win.

Well done all the team and people should really back them more rather than say it was all Obertan’s or Simpson’s fault

Ed, Man of the Match was our only goal scorer yet you dont even post his name!!! Is that sad or what!!!

Fantastic game of football, we fought like a TOOOOON team should fight and lost in the 95th minute. No disgrace whatsoever. We gave it our all and lost to one hell of a team.

I’m proud of our team tonight and know they will improve

Several good performances. Result was tough. But pleeeze…no more Obertan. Not only is he not good enough but he doesn’t try very hard either. Even on his recall by Pards, he still couldn’t muster a decent showing.
